Wen Fan’s voice wasn’t clear but a little soft with a slightly heavy nasal sound.
His voice matches his appearance.
He doesn’t really sound like a youth who is close to his twenties.
He sounded more like a high school student.

Lou Wei had already heard his voice from the videos previously.
However, when he listened to Wen Fan’s voice when he was face to face with him, he sounded better than any of those videos.

Furthermore, he was wearing a cat costume.
Lou Wei lowered his head to stare at him.
He couldn’t help but extend his hand to pat on Wen Fan’s head.
Wen Fan wriggled his cat ears in reflex and his fluffy tails flung comfortably behind him.

At first, Wen Fan was not used to his voice because previously in his human form, when he speaks, his voice was transmitted through the bones.
But now, his voice was transmitted from the mobile phone’s speaker.
The sound effect was very different and his voice sounded a little different from what he usually hears.

However, it sounded exactly the same as when he recorded his voice in the recording studio.

Luckily, Lou Wei did a great job with his sound file.
Every tone was rich and it simply doesn’t sound like it was digital audio.

It took Wen Fan a few more tries before he got used to his voice.

Since it had been a long while since he last talked, Wen Fan simply wished that he could talk non-stop.
He leaned on the screen as he stared at Lou Wei while he swung his tail wildly, “Lou Wei!”

Lou Wei who was about to turn off all other notifications and media volume froze.
His ears went jelly when he heard the youth calling his name.
He turned his head to look at Wen Fan and replied, “Yes?”

Wen Fan was trying to look for some excuses to talk to him.
Eventually, the name of a man came out from his mouth, “Lou Wei.”

If Wen Fan is an ordinary human being now, all the co-workers around him would definitely call him a brave warrior for calling out Lou Wei’s name directly.

After all, not everyone was brave enough to look at President Lou’s cold face.

However, if they could see Lou Wei’s reaction now, their eyes would have popped out from their sockets.
Usually at work, whenever someone is talking nonsense, President Lou would shot them a cold stern as a warning.
Not only that his face didn’t show any sign of impatience, he even nodded toward the direction of the sound.
Although his voice was deep, it was much more gentle than usual, “Yes, I’m here.”

It felt great to be able to speak again.
Wen Fan simply couldn’t stop.
The tail behind him was about to swing to the sky.
The penguin standing behind him raises its wing high, wanting to touch the tip of the tail.
In the end, Wen Fan’s tail that kept swinging slapped on its head.

But Wen Fan, who was extremely delighted, didn’t notice it at all.
He was still leaning against the screen, calling out to the man in front of him, “Lou Wei, Lou Wei, Lou Wei!”

Lou Wei,  who wasn’t able to react to his calls simply extended his index finger to tap on Wen Fan’s forehead as if he was petting a little pet.

The cat ears on top of Wen Fan’s head immediately pointed upright.
Even the tip of his ears was also trembling in excitement.

Seeing him acting in such a way, Lou Wei’s index finger that touched his tiny head couldn’t help but start to feel itchy.

    ……

Over the next few hours, Wen Fan couldn’t help but talk to Lou Wei about whatever that comes into his mind.
Wen Fan had even forgotten that he used to be an ‘otaku’ (T/N: Japanese term referring to a guy who stays at home most of the time, typically spending a lot of time playing online games) who was a little paranoid of socializing.

When he got tired of talking, he started tapping on the penguin’s tummy and played with all the APPs on the desktop.
When he was exhausted, he returned to ‘The Sims’ mansion for a good night’s sleep.

He was living comfortably and relaxed.

Besides not being able to return to his own body, Wen Fan felt that he had no regret in his life anymore.
He doesn’t need to eat nor use the bathroom.
If he wanted to have a big feast, he could cook a feast with the penguin and all the ingredients are free.

If he wanted to keep fit, he would look for ‘KEEP’ and if he wanted to eat candy, he would look for ‘Sweet Camera’ for SUGAR for candy.
If he wanted to enjoy some delicacy, he would look for ‘Meituan Take Out’.
Best of all, he didn’t need to pay for any of them.
Even if he wished to upgrade the renovation of ‘The Sims’ mansion, he could do it with the click of a button for free.

Isn’t this the dream life of a parasite?

Wen Fan felt that he had already reached the peak of his life.

After eating the entire plate of chicken with Meituan Kangaroo, Wen Fan fell asleep, feeling satisfied.

The next morning.

Before he could open his eyes, he heard the voice of a young man, “Don’t be mad President Lou.
After all, this….is a risky move.”

That voice is much clearer than Lou Wei’s voice.
Wen Fan remembered that this should be Lou Wei’s assistant, Ling Xiao’s voice.

He walked out of the mansion and saw Lou Wei holding the phone that he lives in and sat down on the office chair.
Beside him was Ling Xiao in silver spec, dressed in formal office attire, letting out a sigh as he sat down on the couch.

“President Lou.
To be honest, your new proposal is very costly and it’s very challenging…”

They were so focused on the discussion that none of them noticed Wen Fan.
Wen Fan immediately pricked up his cat ears and hid behind the phone frame.
He extended his white cat ears to listen to their conversation.

Based on their conversation, he could roughly figure out what they were talking about.

It seemed that Lou Wei somehow wanted to upgrade his proposal of “collaboration with all well-known celebrities and anime characters to turn their images into a 3D RPG so that players can train their favorite characters” which also made it a more difficult task.

He wanted to upgrade the proposal to enable players to scan and copy the image of any ordinary human being into an RPG character.

And up until now, the technology of ‘scanning the human image speedily and turning it into a 3D image in the phone has not yet been successfully achieved by any gaming nor technology companies.
With the current technology capability, the most they can do is to produce a mini version with facial features that resemble the person.

However, Lou Wei’s expected that the avatar for the game should look like a real human.
And it should look exactly like the real person.

In order to reach such a standard, this isn’t merely about developing a game.
It’s developing new technology.

The senior management representatives of the company agreed that this type of game already violates their original intention of using RPGs to earn some quick cash.
Moreover, it’s very likely that after investing a lot of time and effort to develop this RPG, they are unable to attract the attention of the player because of the failure of the scanning process to meet the standards, resulting in a lousy graphic.

Eventually, this would cause them to lose all their capital.

Thus Lou Wei’s new proposal was rejected by everyone in the organization.

Wen Fan lifted his head to look at Lou Wei’s expression.
The man’s cold brows were tied in a knot, a cold aura surrounded him and he looked hideous.
He repeatedly tapped his fingers on the office desk.
Even Wen Fan with a low social IQ could also sense that Lou Wei is anxious.

Ling Xiao consoled President Lou for a while before bidding him goodbye and walked out of the office cautiously.

Lou Wei sat alone quietly in the office.
Wen Fan stared at him for a long time before he decided to raise his hands to knock on the mobile’s screen.
But with his strength, knocking on the gigantic glass screen would certainly not produce any sound.
Wen Fan could only shout Lou Wei’s name to get his attention, “Lou Wei~”

Lou Wei who was staring blankly at the computer’s keyboard turned around to look at him.

Although he still looked upset, his voice was a lot more gentle compared to when he was talking to Ling Xiao just now.

“You’re awake.”

His voice was deep.
Wen Fan felt the back of his ears burning whenever he listened to his voice.
But he quickly recalled what he intended to do.
He nodded gently and said, “Why do you want to change the game’s proposal?”

After he finished his words, he began to wonder; with Lou Wei’s genius skill in gaming design, he suspected that Lou Wei deliberately made the project challenging in order to showcase his skill.

However…When Wen Fan thought about his male god’s calm and restrained personality, he dismissed that idea.

Just when he was about to jump to another possibility, he heard Lou Wei say softly, “That way, you can appear in front of others without worries.”

Ch1yo: Arrrrhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sweetness overload!

Wen Fan immediately swallowed his unspoken doubts.

Lou Wei wanted to change the concept of the RPG because of me?!

Wen Fan is not stupid.
He immediately understands the relationship between him and the mobile game.
If this RPG that can create a lifelike avatar is released, it will be widely popular.
Once everyone’s mobile phone has an avatar image that is similar to a real person, even when they saw him in Lou Wei’s phone, they won’t be surprised at all.
Because everyone else has something similar on their mobile phones.

Others would no doubt treat him as an ordinary virtual character.

Wen Fan suddenly felt a stab in his heart.
Turbulent blood instantly spread throughout his body.
The warm sensation turned his complexion red, and even the fingertips hanging on his side were flushed.

For a brief moment, he was lost for words.

He hesitated on what to say for a long time, but only one sentence came out from his mouth, “Lou Wei…thank you.”

The man sitting at the desk heard him saying thank you in a polite manner.
He didn’t understand why he felt very uncomfortable for no reason.
It was much more uncomfortable than when his proposal was being rejected by the board of directors.
He frowned and said, “There’s no need for that.”

But his refusal made Wen Fan even more embarrassed.

To be honest, after he came to Lou Wei’s mobile phone, Lou Wei had arranged for someone to take care of his physical body and also helped him create his sound source.
Lou Wei even paid a lot of attention to his living conditions on his mobile phone.

And now, he is developing an RPG for him.

Although Wen Fan also helped Lou Wei twice, it was all because he now possesses the special ability to connect his body to the internet.

But Lou Wei was truly using his own way to help him.

Wen Fan lowered his head and started thinking.
He didn’t even flick the tail behind him.
The tip of his tail hung limply against his feet.

As soon as Lou Wei finished his words, he saw the tiny man on the phone suddenly went silent.
Even the cat’s ears on top of his head were drooping.
His brows tightened even more.
He raised his hand and tapped on the tiny man’s head.
He tried his best to sound as gentle as possible, “What’s the matter?”

After he finished speaking, a white mist like a soul appeared above the head of the tiny man.
It floated from the top of Wen Fan’s head, turned a corner, and floated onto midair.

There is also a crying emoji on the white mist.

Lou Wei’s eyes twitched.
He pressed the white mist with his fingertips and pushed it back into Wen Fan’s body.

As soon as he stopped, he heard Wen Fan whisper, “I feel like…I’ve been troubling you…”

Just when Lou Wei was about to withdraw his hand, he immediately halted.
He tightened his lips and stared deeply at Wen Fan.

After not getting a response from his last statement, Wen Fan tentatively lifted his head to look up.

He saw Lou Wei’s expression turning hideous.
Wen Fan quickly wondered if he had said something wrong.

The next second, he heard Lou Wei replied, “To you, it’s not troublesome at all.”

Wen Fan was stunned.
Even the tail behind him went stiff.

He was already feeling grateful to Lou Wei and he is now even more touched.
He sounded excited, “Lou-ge, with such a statement from you, I’ll see you as my own brother from now on!  Just let me know if you need any help!”

Brother?

Lou Wei’s expression is even more hideous now, “…”

But Wen Fan didn’t even notice it.
The more he talked, the more the sense of pride in his heart blossomed.
He opened his eyes wide and looked at Lou Wei.
He clenched his fist and hammered his chest with his right hand as if he was making an oath.

It took him a long time to realize that something was wrong with Lou Wei’s expression.

And this time, not only was his face hideous, but even the aura surrounding him was a little gloomy.

Wen Fan is now dressed in a cat costume.
Not only did he grow a pair of ears that can move on top of his head, but his senses were also almost similar to that of a cat. The moment he saw Lou Wei’s cold face, he felt the cat hair on his body stood up.
That is the natural reaction of animals to dangerous environments.

Wen Fan is really confused now.

He rubbed his arms to drive away the coldness surrounding his body and stared at Lou Wei.

Why is Lou-ge mad?

Lou Wei didn’t give him another chance to speak.
He extended his hand and pinched the center of his eyebrow.
He then waved his hand at Wen Fan.

“Go and have fun.
I need to work on some designs.”

“”

However, due to courtesy, the company’s board of directors still gave Lou Wei a chance.

If he is able to show a step of improvement to the technology of 3D human scanning within a month, they are willing to offer Lou Wei a chance to lead the team and try to develop the game according to his new proposal.

However, this is a project that is impossible to complete in just a month’s time.

Although mobile and online games have been around for many years,  the technology for scanning the human body and appearance to immediately process a digital version was still not there yet. How can Lou Wei do it within a month?

But Lou Wei is not someone who gives up easily.

Otherwise, he wouldn’t have gathered a few friends during his university years and grit his teeth to set up Yuan Cheng Technology when the gaming industry was still not that popular back then.

He would certainly give it a shot in this one month.

Before Lou Wei began to take action, he noticed that the wallpaper of the phone in front of him had changed.

The tiny man with cat ears and tail was laying with his butt lifted on the piece of white paper from ‘memo’.
He picked up the black pencil beside him and wrote stroke by stroke.
The Meituan kangaroo and QQ penguin also pointed their butts high up as they lay on the piece of paper, watching him write.

Not to mention, the little red bird from ‘Nation’s K Songs’, big eye from ‘Weibo’, robot bird from ‘Cai Niao packing’, little white pig from ‘Flying Pig Travel’, ‘Tian Mao’ cat and Jingdong dogs etc…

They all gathered around Wen Fan in a circle, extending their necks to catch a glimpse of what he is writing.

He’s like the zoo keeps surrounded by the animals in the zoo.

At first, Lou Wei couldn’t see what Wen Fan was doing.
When he leaned closer, he noticed that Wen Fan is writing some codes.

The complicated codes were formed one after another on the piece of white paper through the pencil tip that Wen Fan is holding.
It seemed as though he didn’t even need to think about what he was about to write.

Wen Fan had no idea about what’s going on too.
The moment he heard Lou Wei said that he needed to work on some designs, the idea of waiting to help Lou Wei finish the scanning feature for the RPG popped into his mind.
Various data and coding began to steam into his head.

A huge chunk of information madly swept across his head.
They were all informative data filtered from the internet.

All these data were automatically filtered and summarized in his head.
There was no need for him to think about combining them into countless data.

The graphics and practical functions developed from the codes were playing in his head.
Every frame and every image were very familiar.

So, he quickly grabbed a white piece of paper from ‘memo’ and wrote down everything that appeared in his head.
He used ten pages of paper.

However, he didn’t feel tired at all nor did he feel sore on his wrist.

By the time he finished writing, the pages began to rearrange by themselves.
It eventually formed a white spherical ball.
The inside of the ball bulged and sank as if there was some kind of force pressing on it and it was about to crack.

Within the next second, it flipped a few times in mid-air and suddenly turned over.
A long strip of black line protruded from the left side of the white ball.
It penetrated half of the ball.
The black line moved and opened abruptly, revealing the big black eyes inside.

‘Weibo’ immediately opened its eye wide to stare at that white ball.
A ‘?’ symbol appeared on top of its head as it compared itself to the white ball which happened to also have a body of an eye.

‘Weibo’ was very confused.

It secretly wondered if the white ball was its long-lost brother.

The white ball stared at Wen Fan and then shifted its gaze to Lou Wei.
It shot a gold scanning beam from its eye and scanned Lou Wei from head to toe.

Wen Fan stared blankly at its action.

The next second, the white ball retrieved its sight and looked at the space below it.
The gold beam turned into a neon blue light, casting the blue rays at the space below it.

Magical things began to happen.

Wen Fan saw a small figure about his size slowly appearing in the empty space in front of his eyes.
It slowly transformed into a human form.

The tiny man opened his eyes and looked around.
The first thing that he saw was Wen Fan.

‘His’ eyes were pure and crystal clear.
It was jet black and the tiny man smiled at Wen Fan.
His cold facial feature was filled with intoxicating gentleness.

This is…

Wen Fan stared at the tiny man and turned his head to look at Lou Wei.

He opened his eyes wide to compare Lou Wei’s appearance to the tiny man’s.
After a long while, he finally trembled and said, “This…this is your avatar!”

Lou Wei who was outside the phone found it unbelievable.
But he was much calmer than Wen Fan.  Although he was shocked, he didn’t let it show on his face.
He carefully sized up the other ‘him’ that was inside the phone.
Even Lou Wei, who was strict on his requirements when it comes to work, couldn’t help but agree that this tiny man looked exactly the same as him.

Although the tiny ‘Lou Wei’ in the phone looked like him, his personality was as blank as a piece of paper.
He couldn’t talk.
So, he never opened his mouth but use the speech bubble on top of his head to talk.
“Hello, my name is Lou Wei.”

Wen Fan couldn’t help but went next to ‘Lou Wei’ and extended his hand to touch his shoulder.
Even the texture of his skin..felt real.
The tiny man immediately turned around his head and looked at him.
He put on a smile and asked, “What’s the matter?”

Wen Fan was already speechless.

This ‘Lou Wei’ is indeed very similar to Lou Wei.
His appearance was exactly the same.
The only difference is his personality.
After all, he is an avatar and this is unavoidable.

But what’s important is that they have successfully created an avatar from the scanned image of a real human!

Wen Fan sounded excited, “Lou Wei, the scanning program is ready!!”

He got so excited that he clenched his fist tightly.
The cat ears on top of his head were shaking and not to mention,  the tail behind him was flinging from side to side.

Lou Wei didn’t look at the ‘him’ on the phone but turned his attention to Wen Fan.  “Yeah,  I saw it.”

He whispered softly, “It’s all thanks to Fan Fan.”

The name “Fan Fan” is much more intimate compared to “Wen Fan”.

This is the first time Wen Fan heard Lou Wei addressing him as such.
He finds that the words that came out from Lou Wei’s mouth were fitted with hooks that burnt his ears.

The youth who was still swinging his tail madly was blushing now.
He swung his fluffy tail to the front and hugged it tightly in his arm.
Even the tip of the tail also recoiled shyly.

Wen Fan was suddenly speechless.

Luckily the white ball beside him cast a beam of blue-ray to little ‘Lou Wei’.
The avatar was like a piece of fading drawing, gradually became transparent, disappearing on the screen.

This gave Wen Fan an opportunity to change the topic.

He immediately looked at Lou Wei, “This spherical ball must be the main switch for the scanning program.
Let me send the data to you and we can start working on the RPG!”

Lou Wei kept staring at Wen Fan.
When Wen Fan finished speaking, he immediately said, “Yes.”

He then turned his head to the computer and logged in to QQ.

Wen Fan gave the penguin two kicks in the butt and the QQ penguin immediately pulled out the QQ chatbox from Lou Wei’s phone.
Wen Fan clicked on ‘My Computer’ and shoved the ‘white ball’ in mid-air into the chat box.

Lou Wei immediately received the new message when he logged into QQ on his computer.
After he opened it, it was a long list of codes.

Lou Wei entered the code into the programming software and added the RPG draft and footnotes that were developed by LouV gaming studio previously.
He opened the footnotes and entered other basic program functions into it.

With that, a beta version of a simple RPG was developed.

If they really wanted to design a new game,  they would need to redesign the visual graphics and other fine details.
But more importantly, the function of ‘avatar scanning’ is already developed.
Other things wouldn’t be an issue at all.

Their main task now is to check if it can function stably.

When Lou Wei was about to transfer the game into the phone,  he recalled something.

He turned around to look at Wen Fan, “Let’s give it a name.”

Wen Fan stared at him blankly,  “Me?”

Lou Wei,  “Yes.”

Wen Fan thought for a while, “Why don’t we call it… pagnon? Dearest companion.”

Companion?

Lou Wei stared at Wen Fan as he nodded, “Let’s use this.”

He renamed the RPG file and transferred the data back into the phone again.
In less than three seconds,  a new game APP appeared on Lou Wei’s phone screen.
Because the APP is still yet to properly design,  the icon was just a simple square in yellow.

Wen Fan raised his hand to click on the icon.
After a simple loading page, the menu page is a bunch of selection boxes.

There were a few different selection boxes, each written with the categories of choices.

The boxes were selection boxes for, ‘character’, ‘animal zodiac’, ‘horoscope’, ‘hobby’, ‘favorite color’, ‘favorite food’, ‘career’, ‘age’, ‘date of birth’, etc… there are even some special selection boxes for something such as ‘least favorite dishes’.

Wen Fan randomly picked ‘horoscope’.
A total of twelve horoscopes popped out from behind the selection box.
The moment he wanted to raise his hand to select ‘Capricorn ’, he accidentally stepped on his tail when trying to reach the box that was too high up in the air.
He stumbled as a result of the pain and his tiny palm accidentally clicked on ‘return to title’.
The data fragments that shot out from his body landed on the blank field of those boxes.
They then quickly scattered and automatically filled out the selection boxes.

A screen full of selection boxes was filled in less than a second.
The information given was detailed enough for one to get to know Wen Fan’s characteristics and preferences.

Even Wen Fan’s picky eating, fondness for sleeping in, and his hate for sports were clearly listed out.

Wen Fan, “…” Rubbish hi-tech!

He immediately turned around to look at Lou Wei and saw him busy with another phone.
Wen Fan immediately let out a sigh of relief as Lou Wei did not notice the content of the page displayed behind him.

He quickly clicked ‘next’ at the bottom right corner and it quickly loaded the next page.

He was unaware that Lou Wei had already taken a picture of Wen Fan’s detail page using his other phone.
Just now when Wen Fan turned around to look at him, he had already saved the picture that he’d taken to another folder.

When Wen Fan arrived at the second page, there were numerous lines for filling in more details.
On top of the page was a statement, ‘Please fill in the commonly used words that you use to communicate with your character.”

Wen Fan and Lou Wei were just trying out the practicality of the game.
So, there’s no need to fill in each and every single field.
He quickly skipped to the next page.

The next few pages were mostly some information about how to develop your character.

When Wen Fan went through all the pages, he saw the white ball once again.
But this time, the ball was flat and it was attached to the game’s background page.
When Wen Fan clicked its eye, the white ball speedily scanned Lou Wei.

And once again, a perfect mini size ‘Lou Wei’ was created.

It passed the user testing.

Lou Wei clicked ‘delete character’.
The mini Lou Wei on the screen immediately disappeared.
And so, they had officially concluded the draft version of their RPG ‘Compagnon’.

Wen Fan was so happy that he wanted to let out a few screams.

He had designed a lot of micro software and even some small programs.
But he had never been so excited as now.
Maybe it’s because when he wrote down the data, his head was filled with a storm of codes.
Thousands of codes related to the avatar scanning carved deeply inside his head and he felt as if his brain had been cracked open.

And perhaps, it’s because this is the game that Lou Wei wanted to develop.
So, he felt especially satisfied for writing down all the codes by himself and combining them into the white ball that can perform avatar scanning.

And most importantly, he was able to lend a hand to Lou Wei.

Wen Fan’s tail began to swing madly.

The penguin and kangaroo beside Wen Fan were very excited too.
The penguin pulled out two big horns and passed one to the kangaroo.

It then drew out a few boxes of fireworks from his *ss and played the horn while lighting up the fireworks.
The entire screen was filled with colorful fireworks.

The other APP animals were clapping their claws roaring with joy on their respective APP boxes.

‘Soul’ APP at the top used the alphabet ‘l’ to hook on the colorful candies from ‘SUGAR’ APP beside it and started to distribute candies to Wen Fan and the other APP animals.

At this instant, Lou Wei’s phone screen was filled with colorful fireworks and soft candies that fell from mid-air.
It looked just like children’s day in Disneyland.

The blue paper plane from ‘Gaode Map’ dragged the banner ‘today’s headline’ as it flew across the screen.
There were a row of words across the banner, ‘Congratulations to Compagnon.’

As the banner moved across the screen, the penguin waved its wing and turned the horn in its hand into a sauna.
It took in a deep breath and the clear sound of the horn was immediately replaced by the sound of the sauna.

The tune that came out from the sauna was very catchy.

The little red bird of ‘Nation’s K Song’ and the little yellow duck from ‘Just Sing’ APP pulled down the word ‘Just Sing’ and stuck it on the face of ‘ZhiXue.net’ owl who appeared solemn.

The frowning owl suddenly flew into mid-air as if it had been jabbed with an energy booster.
It lifted it’s head and started singing with the red bird and yellow duck, “Good luck is here~I wish you good luck~Good luck is here~Let’s welcome the luck and prosper~”

Meanwhile, the black cat from ‘Tian Mao’ played the piano from ‘Perfect Piano’ while ‘Jingdong’ dog leaped on the piano and tapped on the piano’s body.

They were even more excited than Wen Fan and Lou Wei.

Even though Wen Fan can talk now, with such a noisy surroundings, Lou Wei would not be able to hear what he is talking about.
He could only use the speech bubble above his head to talk to Lou Wei.
“I think we can show this prototype to the others in the company.”

Lou Wei let out a smile when he saw him using ‘we’.
He nodded gently and said, “Okay.”

An hour later.

The board of directors and Head of departments who once again gathered in the conference room each had different expressions on their faces.
Two meetings in a day, both about the avatar scanning function of the RPG which was of level A difficulties that were impossible to be developed.
Surely, anyone would be feeling unsettled.

If it wasn’t because most of the employees are young and Yuan Cheng Technology is still a relatively new company, thus there is no hard-headed old-timer and most of the employees are able to get along with each other well.
Otherwise, someone would have started to criticize Lou Wei for his move.

Zhao Mengke and Ling Xiao who were seated at the position of the Director’s Assistant, both exchanged glances, feeling helpless.

Since Lou Wei hadn’t arrived at the meeting yet, Zhao Mengke beckoned Ling Xiao and whispered to him, “It seemed like Wei-ge really insisted on going with this project.”

Ling Xiao signaled him to not babble nonsense.

At this moment, Lou Wei entered the conference room, holding a phone in his hand.
Everybody in the conference room turned their heads and looked at him.

Director A, Men Fan let out a sigh, “President Lou, this proposal is simply not going to work.
It’s not only that the nation’s 3D technology is not advanced enough, even the global technology is not advanced enough to be able to produce a 3D figure that is similar to that of an actual human.
Are you trying to put everyone in a difficult position with your new proposal?”

Director B nodded.

The few other head of departments started to provide their opinions.
They really liked the idea, but if this is something that is going to fail halfway, it should be stopped in time to prevent any loss.
If President Lou really liked this project, he could develop it as a personal project, treating it like a hobby.
But if they are to really make this project a solid project for this year, this is very risky business.

Lou Wei didn’t interrupt from giving their feedback.
He listened to their opinions earnestly.
After everyone finished talking, he took out his phone from his pocket and showed Wen Fan to everyone in the conference room.

Wen Fan had driven all the other APPs on the desktop to the bottom of the page.
What’s left on the empty desktop was the software ‘Compagnon’ and Wen Fan.

Wen Fan had already changed into a casual pullover shirt.
He mimicked the expression of the virtual ‘Lou Wei’ and put on a perfect fake smile for everyone in the conference room.

Everyone in the conference room, “…”

Zhao Mengke widened his eyes and pointed at Lou Wei’s phone, “My…my…my goodness!”

Wen Fan had already met Zhao Mengke, but this was the first time Zhao Mengke saw him.
When he saw Zhao Mengke looking shocked, he waved his hand toward him and a speech bubble popped up above his head, “Hi~”

The gold-haired man almost fainted from shock.
His speech is even more slurry now, ‘He…he…he…he is not a human…r…right? But…but…he looked just like a real…real…real…hu…human! How…how…how is this even po…po…posible?”

Ling Xiao stared at Wen Fan who was inside Lou Wei’s phone in shock.
He asked, “President Lou, this is…?”

Lou Wei opened his mouth to give out the statement that he had pre-discussed with Wen Fan, “He is the first avatar from the scanning software.
His name is Wen Fan.”

Showing Wen Fan to everyone is the decision that Lou Wei made after much consideration.
He introduced Wen Fan as the first character developed by the avatar scan so that in the future, everyone in the company will get used to seeing him and also see him as something with great importance.

Surely enough, everyone extended their neck to take a closer look at Wen Fan.
All the ladies are very attracted, “Ah, this is so cute!”

Director Men Fan took a while to say, “President Lou, we just had a meeting this morning and you’ve come up with this in just half a day.
Honestly, Xiao Lou, have you already prepared this software since a long time ago?”

Lou Wei stopped showing his phone and used his fingertip to tap on Wen Fan’s head.
Wen Fan immediately lifted his hand and touched the spot on the screen where Lou Wei’s finger was at.
It seemed as if he was touching Lou Wei’s fingertip.

The moment Lou Wei’s fingertip met with Wen Fan’s palm, he felt a warm sensation on his fingertip.
He kept his eyes on the tiny man on the screen and said softly, “I’ve been working on this and today it was officially completed.
The friend who managed the data is the owner of Wen Fan’s image.”

Lou Wei took out his other phone and a copy of the ‘Compagnon’ software was on the phone.
Lou Wei opened ‘Compagnon’ and scanned Zhao Mengke.

A tiny version of Zhao Mengke immediately appeared on the screen.
He looked exactly the same as Zhao Mengke, just a thousand times smaller.

Lou Wei edited the name on top of the tiny man’s head to ‘Big Mouth Monster Zhao’.
The tiny man on the screen immediately let out a professional smile, “Hello everybody, I am Big Mouth Monster Zhao.”

Ling Xiao lifted his spectacle frame, “Oh!”
