The Two Set Dungeon

Neil Pov:

After we named Sen we decided to expand and then level up. From what we can tell the more space we dig out the more passive mana we gain its not much but its better than nothing. We expanded the core room to just the edge of our area of influence leaving the floor flat so that Sen could continue Patrolling as he liked to think of it, Zion asked shortly after he started why he was walking around our core, and the amount of sas I felt from that small body shocked me.

By the time we finished our mana had regened to 5/10 but to get to the point to level up would take forever so I suggested using some of the RM we got from hollowing out our cave to fill in the missing mana, Zion had no problem so I focused on the option as my vision faded out.

Zion Pov:

My vision faded back in and I was standing in a field of… flowers? Not far from sat a boy around my age 20 or so, with a smile on his face. I walk over to the boy and throw out a guess, ”Neil, is that you? ”

Neil looks shocked for a moment and then nods his head, holding an idea in my heart and ask him if he knew this place. He nods once again and says ”This is the Aion flower field, the last place where the Tarla rose grows naturally. ”

In front of Neil was a beautiful rose. The tips of the pedals are red but they then fade into a purple to a blue. For a while the name Tarla has been bothering me. Now I remember, the Tarla rose and butterfly are the two hardest species to raise outside the wild. The roses only grow in extremely specific conditions and the Tarla butterfly will only lay their eggs and place their cocoons on the leaves and petals of this rose.

”Im guessing that the Tarla is your favorite plant, seeing as how your favorite animal is the only one that seems to pollinate them. ”

”Hah you caught me, its always been my dream to raise a Tarla rose to maturity, ” his eyes looked downcast seeming about to cry but the smile stayed on his face ”But it looks like I won be able to do that now will I? ” He laughed.

I felt a pain in my heart, hes trying to hide it behind the smile and laughing but I can tell hes extremely distraught over this.

The scene suddenly changes, I no longer feel present, like an observer. We are now on a mountain near a cliff, I watch as Neil goes to the edge to gather something and then how he gets thrown off the cliff by the horn of the mountain goat.

Neil Pov:

My vision fades back in to find… a pop up.

Congratulations to cores {Neil} and {Zion} for making it out of the educational period of the cores. Any Restrictions have been lifted and AoE has been greatly expanded, along with that new {Automata} are available.

Im still a bit sad, But not to worry I have the ultimate skill- pretending it doesn exist! While Im practicing my ultimate skill Zion says ”We should probably start building our dungeon soon. But first we need to know how people treat dungeons around here or we may end up biting off more than we can chew. ”

I mentally nodded, that makes sense. So when our dungeon fairy – Abby comes back Ill ask. As we waited we discussed a plan for our dungeon, well start with four-ish rooms including our core room. From what we could tell we were located under a small mountain that had a river passing very nearby. Zion had an idea for the entrance that would be awesome if we can make it work so we decided to change directions after our boss-room to end up opening at the nearest point to the river. We continued to discuss some ideas for a while until Abby came back.

”Hey Im back sorry I took so long- Nice congrats on Level 2 it seems youve been busy while Ive been gone! ”

”Hey Abby nice to see you again, got a question for you. ” I say,

”Well, shoot. ” Abby replies

”How are dungeons viewed around here because if people are heading to destroy us as soon as we open our doors we should probably be prepared. ”

”Oooh nice one, so basically we as the dungeon supply an excellent training ground and rewards, and in return we take the mana they give off, so it should be fine as long as you keep your kill count reasonable. Some dungeons get lost in the major boost in mana they gain when a sentient dies in their domain so be careful! ”

”Got it! So Zion you ready?
