The Extra's Survival

While everyone had lost interest even before the start of the match, they heard the referee shout for the start of the match.

Following the shout of the referee, the sound of a loud bang was heard which thundered across the arena and the entire stadium descended into silence, and they saw a silhouette was thrown out off the stage and flying in the air, his figure slammed against the wall making a huge hole in it.

And what was unexpected was that contrary to their expectation it was the silhouette of Oskolov, the one whom they thought would win easily.

The entire academy descended into silence. It hasn ’t even 5 seconds since the match started and it finished.

Their eyes popped out of the socket seeing the boy standing in the arena standing in a punching position.

15 mins before the beginning of his match.

Lucas sat cross-legged trying to clear the uneasiness in his mind and heart. The name of his opponent had become his inner demon.

He was anything but calm.

On one side, he was feeling a strong urge to kill Oskolov, on the other side he was trembling in fear

with the trauma of facing Oskolov.

His future self was ostracized and traumatized by the Oskolov to the extent that he had become an inner demon in his heart, a knot that he have to untie to move forward.

The urge of killing and the fear of fighting Osoklov were clashing inside Lucas. He tried to clear his mind and blank out his mind but he couldn ’t no matter how many times he tried.

Though he wasn ’t successful in his attempt still he was feeling much better than the previous night.

Yesterday, he was feeling like a maniac who had been broken down by torture still with great difficulty he was getting normal.

Lucas took a deep breath and looked at the watch. It was time for his fight.
