Damien was literally moving like lightning, zooming through the entire quarters and stopping before he came upon the guards stationed outside.

”What? ” Hearing Luna giggling suddenly in his mind, Damien asked in confusion.

Damien sighed, wondering why he even asked.

He hoped that the princess wouldn ’t raise any alarms. Otherwise he would have to run before everyone, which could attract attention since he had no idea if there were any experts wandering about.

After all, this kingdom was the most powerful one among other kingdoms in the Gale Empire and wasn ’t as easy as sneaking out from the imperial palace in the Rong Empire.

With sharp eyes, he quietly moved towards the back gate and saw Valentina eagerly waiting for him.

Valentina quickly opened the gate for him and quickly put the unconscious guard back in his place to make sure he doesn ’t suspect much when he wakes up.

The two then disappeared into the night before taking off on the back of Haunter and into the skies.

Valentina removed her mask and asked, ”So, how did it go? ”

Damien sighed, ”It was a bust. ” He then explained what all happened.

Valentina narrowed her eyes, ”So the princess herself caused trouble for you? Hmph, I will teach her a lesson next time we meet. Instead of helping you out, she— ”

Damien slightly laughed, ”Haha, don ’t scare her off. She is not as bad as you think, but just a girl bored of her daily life, I guess. Anyways, the last thing I expected was to bump into a princess trying to sneak out. ”
