Reach for the Sky: Because You’re Young

Danny suddenly came out of his class, permission to go to the toilet during the 7th lesson. Meanwhile, Raka, who was suspicious of him, followed behind him.

Danny didn go to the toilet. He went down the stairs and came to someones locker, which was the locker of his seniors. Then he made something into the locker, put something in the shoe.

Raka peeked, to find out what he entered. Meanwhile, having managed to get something into the shoe, Danny turned around and started walking. He seems to be ”really going to the toilet ”.

Raka, who was curious about it, tried to approach the locker after Danny just left.

He managed to open the locker, which was unlocked. Then, he grabbed something with his hand and went inside the shoe. When he managed to get it, Raka was curious about what was in the plastic.

”Pill? Its a pill. But, what pill is this? And… why did he put this pill in his shoe? ” Raka asked. ”Could it be… this is an ecstasy pill? ”

Realizing that a teacher was coming towards him, Raka quickly put the plastic back into his shoes and closed the locker. Then, he climbed the stairs quickly and returned to the classroom.

When he managed to sit in his chair, he wondered in his mind.

Is Danny a delivery man? It was an ecstasy pill, which could be intoxicating. Where did he get that it from? Someone must have told him to deliver it. Certainly.

”Raka, whats wrong? ” Lia asked, noticing Rakas confused face.

”No, its nothing. ”

When Danny returned to the classroom, Raka looked straight at him who was about to sit in his chair.

You… must be in trouble.

Rakas gaze was sharp towards Danny, but Danny didn notice it because Rakas glasses looked like they didn see him.

Before the hour to go home, Raka looked out the window which was already cloudy. He thought that the weather forecast he had watched this morning was correct, it would rain in the late afternoon. He didn expect that he would forget to bring an umbrella. Therefore, he sighed and regretted that he played too much with the weather forecast, which turned out to be true.

”Alright, everyone. Today, I will just say that. Remember, you guys hurry back to the dorms, don hang out too long outside. Its still dangerous out there, you don want anything to do with it, do you? ” Miss Prillia delivered her last words before leaving the class.

”We understand, Miss. ”

”Good. I hope you guys are always doing well out there. ”

”Thank you, Miss Prillia. ”

After that, Prillia left the class, and the doorbell rang.

The students packed up their things, then left the class just like that, but not with Raka. Raka waited for the class to be empty and waited for Danny to leave this class. He was plotting something on what he had just seen. Therefore, he decided to be the last person to leave the class.

When Danny left the class, Raka was the last person in the class. Before he left his class, Raka once again looked out the window.

”Its starting to rain. Im late to go home, so Id better just follow him. Chances are, he will go to the 3rd floor, meet the person who gave him the item, and say that he has managed to put it in the locker. ”

Carrying his bag, Raka went and came out of his class.

He saw Danny walking, who was already quite a distance away. As Danny started to climb the stairs, Raka started walking fast not to be left behind.

”Here he is. ”

Raka slowly climbed the stairs. This was his first time going to the 3rd floor. He hoped that he wouldn make any mistakes later while he was there. Therefore, he was very careful.

Just like on the 2nd floor, the atmosphere on the 3rd floor also had students chatting with each other before returning to the dorms. They may be waiting for their friends who are still in class, or waiting for the rain to stop. Even so, that didn stop Raka from stalking Danny from behind.

Some people notice Raka, realize that Raka is not Class 3. They wonder, why are Class 2 student is on the 3rd floor. Even so, they just thought about that, neither reprimanding nor talking to Raka.

Meanwhile, maybe because they were too used to being on the 3rd floor, not a single student wondered why Danny went to the 3rd floor. It seems they already know that Danny often goes to the 3rd floor. Their views are very different from Rakas. That makes Raka seen as a Class 2 student who is on the 3rd floor.

And sure enough, when a big guy came out of Class 3-D, that person rebuked Raka who arrived in front of him.

”I never saw you. What are you doing here? ”

”I-I… ”

Raka responded, but he was confused to choose the right words.

”You look like you
e not from these classes. You shouldn be here. ”

Before answering the question, Raka glanced at Danny who was behind the big guy. Raka kept glancing at him until he entered Class 3-B. After that he noticed the sign that said ”3-B ”, Raka returned to focus on looking at the big guy.

”Well, Im a new student here, you know that? So, I just want to go around this school. And, you know, since its raining outside, theres no harm in walking around, right? ”

”Oh, you
e right. But you can be here. ”

”Why? ”

”Let me tell you something. ” He brought his lips to Rakas ear, to whisper. ”You will die if you are here. ”

”… ”

Those words made Raka speechless. He didn expect that he was being threatened by the big guy.

”So for that, get out of here! ” He continued.

”OK. ”

Because Raka didn want to stand out and ruin the peace of his life, he relented and left the 3rd floor.

Raka relents, although he can ask about why Danny can be free to be on the 3rd floor while Raka is not. He had chosen to leave instead of having to inquire about it. Even so, he had confirmed that Danny went into Class 3-B.

After he descended the stairs, and after he managed to change his shoes with sandals, Raka was sweating profusely standing right at the exit. He saw the rain was too heavy. He couldn break through the rain even though he liked the rain.

Raka likes rain, especially when he fights in the rain. But this time, he didn want to get sick. Tomorrow is still school for him, so he can catch a fever from breaking through the rain.

”This is the result of not carrying an umbrella. ”

He said that with a resigned face. He knew that he should wait for the rain to stop rather than catch a fever. He couldn force it this time. Tomorrow is the time for him to go to school. He regretted what he had done, ignoring the weather forecast to bring an umbrella.

Meanwhile, the other students managed to break through the rain with their umbrellas. They passed Raka just like that, making Raka feel even more sorry for not bringing an umbrella.

Raka stood there for a long time, watching the students breaking through the rain with umbrellas.

”I wonder why they can and I can . Also, I wonder, why the girls in this school wear skirts that are too short. Did they invite a criminal to do bad things to them? ”

Raka wondered and looked at some of the girls skirts whose panties were almost visible. He was confused as to the reason why they were wearing too-short skirts. Plus, he was confused as, why they weren cold wearing such a short skirt.

”Raka… ”

Hearing that voice, a familiar voice, Raka turned around and saw a girl in a short skirt wrapped in black stockings standing there with an umbrella in her hand.

”Oh, hi. ”

”I thought you were home. I looked for you in your class, but I couldn find you. I thought you were home, Raka. ”

It was Clara, Rakas girlfriend, who had just finished delivering books to the teachers room after seeing Rakas class.

”Well… Im stuck here. It can be helped, I forgot to bring an umbrella. ”

”I have an umbrella, but only one. How about we share? ”

”Really? ”

”Yeah. You didn bring an umbrella, did you? So, we went back to the dorm together. ”

”Okay, Ill accept that. ”

Raka gets an umbrella, but he has to share it with Clara, who owns the umbrella.

”Let me handle it. ”

”Okay. Here! ” Clara gave her umbrella to Raka, and Raka immediately opened the umbrella.

”Let! ”

When Raka and Clara walked together under the same umbrella, Raka stopped and looked back, right in the direction of the 3rd floor.

”What is it? ” Clara asked.

”Nothing. ”

Raka seemed to realize something. He felt that someone up there was watching him. Thus, he stopped and quickly turned his head in that direction.

After that, he walked back with Clara.

On the way back to the dormitory, Raka felt that the portion for him was too big so it made Clara rain. Therefore, he quickly put his arm around Claras shoulder and made her touch Rakas arm. It was so close, they were so very close.

”… ”

Clara blushed because she was too close to Raka. She even noticed that her arm was in contact with Rakas arm. Plus, Rakas left hand was wrapped around her shoulder.

Meanwhile, Raka only saw a hole that was flooded by rainwater which was not far from him. He seemed to have guessed something about the hole.

And sure enough, when they were right next to the hole, a car drove past and splashed the water in the hole in their direction.

Raka, who had predicted it would happen, immediately protected Clara and the splash of water. It made his uniform wet. But, he had managed to protect Clara from the splashes of water. Raka managed to protect his girlfriend.

”Your uniform… ”

”Its okay. I can still dry this later. ”

After Raka said that, Clara looked down for a moment and her cheeks turned red.

”T-Thank you. ”

”Does not matter. Lets go again! ”

”Y-Yes. ”

Even though Raka seemed fine, his mind was constantly haunted by the feeling of not wanting to have a fever due to this. He kept thinking that he didn want to fever things in this only.

He thought of that. He still wanted to go to school tomorrow, so he could confirm Dannys condition, who was currently in Class 3-B. He didn want this to give him a fever. Therefore, with his cool face, Raka still thinks about the wet condition of his uniform.

”Thank You. ”

Raka thanked Clara after he arrived at the door of the boys dormitory. He gave Claras umbrella to Clara.

”Then, Im going to my dorm. ”

”Yes. ”

They separated because of different dormitories. Clara is in the girls dorm, while Raka is in the boys dorm. Therefore, they separated after Clara managed to save Raka from the rain.

”Then now… Ah-chim. ” Raka sneezed and immediately prayed. ”Oh my God, I beg you not to catch a cold. I still have a business. ”

Even though he is strong, Raka is still an ordinary human. He will lose to the disease. He was afraid of the disease he would suffer later. Therefore, he prayed not to get sick.

”Gosh, this is so bad. I hope I don catch a cold. ”

Entering room 303, Raka quickly changed into a black t-shirt. He dried his uniform to wear tomorrow and kept thinking about Dannys fate.

If he turns out to be a courier, then he is in danger. He must have had to. After all, no one would want to be a courier for a crime. So, he must have done that for some reason, whether it was forced or threatened. But, who ordered it? Who did he meet in Class 3-B? Is that person? This must have something to do with the biker hitting the guy. Thats for sure. I have to find out tomorrow, so hopefully, I don catch a cold.

After speaking in his mind, and after drying his uniform, Raka opened the curtains and saw the heavy rain from outside his bedroom window.

”Its like before when it rains, the blood will mix with the rainwater that pools on the streets. This city still has delinquents who are in every corner. Even though Im no longer a delinquent, I still know that this city still holds a grudge against fellow humans. They will always look for the top position. They will fight over it. The city was still in a state of chaos, even though it looked so serene. Its raining this time… someone will get hurt. Oh my… Ah-chim. Ah, Im starting to feel a runny nose in my nose. ”
