Chapter 509: Total

Seeing Lian Fang Zhou staring at him with wide eyes, it was clear that she thought he was talking nonsense with his eyes open.
Ah Jian laughed, “I am biased.
After everything was over, you neither cried nor made a fuss and you spoke so calmly.
Isn’t this good? Don’t push yourself too hard.
Once you relax, you will naturally forget those unpleasant things.”

He pretended to be wronged and complained: “You should think of me more, I’m your man…”

Lian Fang Zhou snorted and couldn’t help giggling: “Not yet!”

“Third Aunt said so! I believe everyone will know soon!”

Lian Fang Zhou smiled softly.
Today really was lively.
Announcing the relationship between the two of them at this time, she actually felt a little sorry for Ah Jian.
He had been a little wronged.

“I’m sorry,” she sighed.
“If I knew this would happen, I would have made our relationship public earlier.”

He smiled indifferently.
“I just told you not to think too much! It’s done, I don’t mind! The only thing I care about, is you!”

His burning gaze suddenly focused on her and his tone was low.

Lian Fang Zhou immediately blushed, an indescribable sweetness and tenderness blooming in her heart.
After all, she was not Su Xin’er.
Having a person by her side who treated her well was enough.

“It’s not warm yet, take off your shoes and let’s go up!” Lian Fang Zhou said in a soft voice.

Ah Jian was naturally very agreeable to this and immediately kicked his shoes off and climbed up on the bed.
Hugging her in his arms, he leaned against the head of the bed while Lian Fang Zhou pulled the covers over them.
She leaned against him comfortably.

He bowed his head to look at her and they both smiled.

Looking at her while sitting in her room, surrounded by her scent, he thought that it wouldn’t be too long before the two of them were not so tightly constrained…

His imagination spread without bounds and his heart started to beat very fast.
His mouth was dry and it was like a fire burned in his heart.
He yearned for that day fiercely.

He leaned back a little and changed his posture.

Lian Fang Zhou leaned against him lazily, not guarded at all, as they gossiped and laughed.

However, he was still distracted and didn’t always answer her clearly.

They went like this for a while before Ah Jian realize she wasn’t speaking anymore.
Looking down, he saw that at some point, she had fallen asleep.
Her breath went in and out evenly, like a little bellow, tickling his heart.

Ah Jian smiled slightly and hugged her tightly.

She slept so peacefully and comfortably in his arms, which made him feel an indescribable sense of satisfaction and pride.

Madam Qiao and that man didn’t know what hell they had unlocked.
Ah Jian’s eyes were cold as he thought about it.
This time, he would never let them go, no matter what means he had to use.
He wouldn’t shy away.

Madam Qiao and her sister-in-law helped her nephew home, one on either side of him, in a panic.

The whole way, Qiao Lei kept babbling and muttering and he couldn’t walk without their support.

Ah Jian hated him deeply and was merciless in his punch.
It was lucky that he could still move.

Reaching the house, Madam Qiao and her sister-in-law helped Qiao Lei lie down.
The sister-in-law could help crying: “My son!” Turning to Madam Qiao, she cursed: “Didn’t you say this would be an easy thing? How was that easy! How did it become like this! If anything is wrong with my son, I, I— what will I do!?”

The blood on Madam Qiao’s face had already dried, making her look like a ghost.
Her scalp was burning painfully and there were bruises all over her body and arms.
She was no less annoyed than her sister-in-law.

“Let’s let Nephew rest and go out to talk.” Knowing that her sister was angry with her, Madam Qiao spoke quietly and held back her own anger.

Her sister-in-law looked at her son, who was sleeping with his eyes closed, and frowned painfully.
The resentment in her heart towards Madam Qiao grew higher and she followed her out with a cold snort.

“There were so many witnesses, it’s impossible for that girl to marry anyone else.” Madam Qiao said angrily.
“It’s good that he’s injured! It’s evidence! How dare she try to deny it?” When that girl married her second nephew, hmph! Let’s see how easily she could manipulate and get revenge!

Her wealth would no longer belong to her, it would be the Qiao family’s property! Where was this easy to get? A little injury was nothing.

Madam Qiao’s sister-in-law was an ignorant and greedy person, otherwise how could she be instigated by Madam Qiao to do such a thing? Hearing what Madam Qiao said, she felt that it made sense and her resentment eased a little.
Thinking of the Lian family’s property, she was even a little eager.

But her mouth could not be subdued so quickly.
Snorting, she snapped: “It’s not you who was beaten so badly, of course you can say that so easily!”

It wasn’t her son that was groaning in pain and lying on the bed!

Madam Qiao’s breath choked in her throat and her heart was full of anger.
Didn’t she get beaten? Didn’t she get hurt? Were the scratches on her face from playing with herself? Did she tear out her own hair?

If it wasn’t for targeting Lian Fang Zhou, Madam Qiao definitely wouldn’t talk to this idiot sister-in-law again!

“How could you get such a huge benefit without paying a price? Where could such a cheap thing be found in this world?” Madam Qiao snorted back.

Her sister-in-law was not satisfied.
“That’s not what you said before!”

“Sure,” Madam Qiao agreed sarcastically.
“I just didn’t expect my nephew to be so useless! Even a woman can take him down!” Don’t blame this on her!

“How can you blame him!” Madam Qiao said angrily.
“Who knew that girl would go back to her room in the day? It would have worked if she waited until night!”

Madam Qiao huffed: “It’s still Nephew’s fault! Why didn’t he wait until night to move?”

Her sister-in-law was furious! “What do you mean by that!”

Madam Qiao was in pain from her head to her toes and she really didn’t want to keep arguing.
She sighed wearily: “Forget it, what’s the use of talking about it now? If you have the energy, you might as well think about what to do next! Don’t blame me for not reminding you, that damn girl is not easy to deal with.
She’s very cunning!”

Her sister-in-law hummed dismissively.
“So what if she’s clever? My son’s already made a move, she’s almost his woman! I’ve never heard of someone being arrogant after such a thing.
She still has to worry about my son not wanting her anymore!”

Thinking about Lian Fang Zhou leaning in the arms of another man when everyone rushed in, the sister-in-law couldn’t help but scold: “That shameless girl! There was another man her room! Hmph, if she tries that in the future, I’ll make my son divorce her immediately! If it wasn’t for her the sake of her family’s property, could she dream of entering our Qiao family with a bad reputation?”

She spit in disgust: “She must bring all of her family’s wealth as a dowry and hand it over to me at the door! Otherwise, hmph! Our family doesn’t want her! From now on, she’s not allowed to see those little oil lamp siblings either! They are not allowed to take advantage of our family!”

TN: This woman is even stupider than Madam Qiao, my god.
