Wei Shen jumped backwards to dodge the beasts vicious attack. What makes the One Fanged Viper very notorious was not only its huge fang and the venom at its disposal, the agility of the beast was extraordinary despite its big size. Its white scales shone brightly amidst the shadows of the night. A truly magnificent creature.

An albino One Fanged Viper? What a rare sight.

In most cases, the color of a beast doesn determine its rank. However, it indeed has some good monetary value on the market. Even so, Wei Shen was more than determined to tame that albino snake beast.

The hardened scales on the tip of its tail formed a spiky bludgeon, with its flexible body, the snake beast used it like a whip. Every strike from it was so devastating, even a big tree trunk was crushed once it got hit.

Since One Fanged Vipers intelligence was at par with a toddler and can converse its mind with humans really well, the only way to defeat it without killing it was strangling it till almost death.

Wei Shen was overwhelmed by the beast snake resilient, he glanced at his surroundings to find something that he can use to beat it.

He looked at the trees above him and saw some dangling roots, an idea bulb floating and shone brightly on his head. He quickly feigned the snake beast and climbed the trees as well as taunting it.

”Hey! You want to taste my blood? Then follow me, you ugly snake! ”

Thus, the snake beast was utterly agitated, it coiled the tree trunk and dashed towards him.

He threaded his way through the dense tree leaves while dodging the snack beast attack. Jumped from one branch to another as he snatched one long tree root to used it as a rope, he made a simple lasso knot while he ran from the beast.

Wei Shen could see the end of the branch while the snake beast got closer to him, when the line of branches reached its end, he leaped frontwards as hard as he could while gripping the tree roots tightly, swung his in midair.

Just as he predicted, the blood-thirsty beast followed his direction, right at that moment, he pulled the tree root until it detached from the branch.

He let the snake come at him with its full momentum. Since both of them were in midair, Wei Shen could easily maneuver his body around the beasts neck, strangling the beast above the ground as they were free falling.

Wei Shen kicked its body to gain some momentum and reach out for the closest branch from him. Then he looped the tree root around the branch, pulling it so hard and hung the snake beast.

It was flailing so hard, trying to escape the lasso knot that chokes its neck so hard. Wei Shen gripped the root dearly to make sure the beast was half dead above the ground.

After he was certain that the beast was almost lost its breath, he let go of the root and landed safely.

He quickly approaches the beast before its completely dead. Alas, he used his [Beast Imprint] skill to label it with a stigma sign to form a life-long contract with it.

Wei Shen palm shone brightly, the immense heat soon stung his skin. He placed his palm on its head, a snack-like imprint label slowly formed as if it was being made by a laser.

A few minutes later, the imprint was successfully done, One Fanged Viper who once very fierceful, now behaved like a docile lamb.

Wei Shen loosened the knot so the beast could breathe more easily.

Soon, the system rang with cheerful ringtones.

One Fanged Viper nudged its nose to his shoulder, it was asking for a name or something that could make it somewhat special.

”To be frank, I am not the type to give my beast a name unless they are smart and loyal enough to devote themselves to me. Better save the BP for later use. ”

The beast snake licked Wei Shens right cheek, its eyes expression becoming teary.

”Yuck! Hey, come on! Don lick me! You stink! Better yet, I don have that much BP right now. Hence, you better work hard for me to accumulate the beast core from todays onwards. You understood my words, right? ”

The One Fanged Viper nodded its head, however, it licked Wei Shen one more time, still demanding for a name.

”Fine! I will call you… hmm wait a minute. First and foremost, you are a female snake with fair white scales… ” Wei Shen pondered a little bit for a nickname that suited it best.

”Aha! I will call you… Xiaoqing! It may sound weird to you. But believe me, that name suits you best. I shall bestow that name to you once we meet the required amount of BP! ”
