Love you Mr. Officer

At canteen:

After finishing their snacks Manvi looked at her wrist watch to know the time.

”Lets go now ”, Manvi said to Priya.

”Yeah..yes ”, Priya replies.

They both slowly came out of the canteen with wiping their hands with napkin.

”You go to Class; The lecture will start soon ”, Manvi said to Priya, looking at her watch.

”Yes..I am leaving and you also go to your cabin or else that officer will come here in search of you ”, Priya said to Manvi in teasing way.

Hearing Priyas words, Manvi stared at Priya with big eyes but said nothing to her.

”Did I Say somthing wrong ”, priya asked Manvi in a way that she know nothing.

”Hmmmm ….hmmm… ”Bye ” ”Bye ”, Maanvi said to Priya and left for the cabin.

Maanvi went to the cabin .

”May i com…., Manvi said only this with half opened door with noticing that Raghavs chair is empty.

but Raghav was not there as he was on the round with the principal.

”Where has he gone now? ” ; Seeing Raghavs empty chair, Maanvi said to herself.

Manvi entered in cabin and moved towards her chair with thoughts of Raghav in her mind.

Maanvi dragged her chair and sits on her chair and she started looking at the files that Raghav had kept on her table to check once again and sign on them . Manvi was falling asleep while checking as after Lunch its hard to work.

”Aah…amm..am , Im really too sleepy now ”, what to do ?..if i fell sleep my work will remain incomplete and Mister.officer

Will really gonna kill me?, Manvi said while rubbing her eyes.

Suddenly her eyes closed unwantedly … ofcourse who had control on sleep ?…she fell asleep and her head was about to hit the table but at right before Manvis head can hit the table Raghav put his hand on the table so that Maanvis head fell on his hand and she did not get hurt.Once again Raghav saved Manvi from getting hurt in time.

”She can even control her sleep ”, Raghav told himself.

He slowly tried to take his hand out from under Maanvis head but Maanvis hands held his arm tightly.

”Mom! ”….please! let me sleep for some more time ”, Manvi was bubbling in sleep.

After that Raghav remained in that position for some time and kept looking at Manvis face. He removed the hair on Maanvis face with his other hand finger; Raghav was just looking at her without making any move. An hour passed, Raghav slowly removed his hand from under her head as Maanvi had let go of Raghavs arm. .

”Oh god! ”My hand, ” said Raghav, shaking his hand.

Raghavs hand had gone numb, after all, he stood in one place for an hour without moving his hand.

”This girl really..Ahhh ”, said Raghav to himself.

He then left the cabin with rubbing his hand. After some time Manvis eyes opened.

”Oh… its 5:30 in the evening, its too late, hasn he returned yet ”, she said to herself.

”thank God! ”… ”He is not here, otherwise he would have behaved like an angry bird ”, Maanvi said to herself.

Manvi was completely unaware that Raghav had been standing near her for an hour as her pillow.

She stood up, collected the files, put them in her bag and left the cabin and went to class in search of priya.

Priya was still waiting for her.

”where were you? I have been waiting for you for a long time ”, ”look everyone is gone ”, Priya asked Maanvi.

”.Im sorry yaar..actually I was sleepy thats why.. ”, Maanvi tells Priya.

”Never mind.. lets go now we are already too late for home ”, Priya told Maanvi.

”Yeah! ”.. lets go.. ”,Maanvi replies to Priya.

Both of them went to the parking lot and started riding towards the house sitting on the scooty. First, Maanvi drops Priya at her house and then goes home herself.

At night manvi was assembling the pages of her assignment when suddenly her phone vibrated.

Maanvi picked up her phone and saw that the msg had come from some unknown number.

”Where did you put the files? ”, Manvi got this message on her phone.

Manvi was confused for a moment, which file and who is asking for the file from her?.

”who are you ? ”, Manvi asks on the message.

Im the one for whom you has been selected as an assistant, Raghav replies.

”Yess !.. its Raghav.

”Oh… its you Mister officer ”, Manvi responds.

”where did you put the files? Raghav asks again in very cold manner.

”I have brought them with me at home for checking as I could not check them in college ”… I will give them to you tomorrow, ”OK! ”, Maanvi tells Raghav.

”OK! ”, Raghav replied only this.

”Have you had dinner? ”, Maanvi casually asked Raghav.

But Raghav did not respond.

”what?.. Aaaaa… ” Why does he always behave so strangely? ”, Maanvi muttered angrily.

She put her phone down on the bed aggressively.

The next morning, Maanvi was ready for the college early so as not to get stuck in the jam again. She reached college early.

Hey.. Manvi! Here on this side ”, Priya calls out to Maanvi.

”Hey..Whats up? ”, Maanvi asked Priya with a smile and hugged her.

”I am fine and you tell ”, Priya asks Maanvi.

”I am fine too ”, replies Manvi.

”Lets go inside, Priya said to Maanvi pointing towards the main door of the college.

” Why have you come early today? ”, Priya asked Manvi.

”Yes actually.. I have to give the file to Mr. Officer, I took the file home with me yesterday to check ”, Maanvi told Priya.

”Ok… so see you in the evening, your Mr. Officer will be waiting for you, Priya said to Manvi while take farewell from manvi.

”Yeah! ”.. see you in the evening…Bye ”, Maanvi said to Priya and walks towards the cabin.

Manvi comes inside the cabin.

”Good morning ”, Mr. Officer, Manvi said to Raghav.

”Good morning ”, replied Raghav with a expressionless face.

Maanvi put her bag on her table and took out the files from her bag to give them to Raghav.

These are the files you were asking for. At night, she said to Raghav with putting the files on his table.Maanvi suddenly remembered that last night Raghav did not answer her message, so Maanvi in a casual way asked Raghav why he didn replied?

”Well… why didn you reply to my message yesterday?, Maanvi asked Raghav.

”Because your message was not related to work, it would be better here that you focus on work instead of nonsense ”, Raghav replied while typing on the laptop.

what? I am just….how can you be so unrespective and rude?, Maanvi said in her mind while looking at Raghav with anger.

Maanvi turned around and went to her bag and opened its zip, she took out a toffee from the bag and came again to Raghav.

”Eat this and try to speak sweetly ”, Maanvi said angrily placing the toffee on Raghavs table.

She turned again and went to her table, Manvi quietly sat on her chair.

”Ahhh….What enmity do people have with me? ”,Manvi suddenly cried loudly and angrily started flipping the pages of the file.

Raghav smiled seeing his childish behaviour. Suddenly Raghav started having hiccups.

”Wh….. where is water ? ”, said Raghav while rubbing his chest.

Maanvi looked around and stood up from the chair after seeing Raghav like this.

”I will bring water to you ”; ”you just sit there ”; Maanvi said to Raghav.

Maanvi got up and quickly poured water into the glass and gave it to Raghav.

”Take this….Drink it ”, Manvi said to Raghav.

But Raghavs hiccups still did not stop.Manvi thought something and she suddenly bowed down and by placing her hand on Raghavs shoulder came very close to him, because of her touch raghav looked towards Manvi.. she started looking into Raghavs eyes. Situation is quite awkward due to which Raghav became quite nervous .

”what ”? .. ”What are you doing? ”, Raghav said nervously to Manvi.

”Look, your hiccups are gone, ta-da, this is a special treatment for hiccups ”, Maanvi said to Raghav, standing up straight.

It was true that Raghavs hiccups had really disappeared.But Raghav was still nervous.

”You…. don you even dare to do this again ”, Raghav said to Maanvi, feeling something different in his heart.

”Ok ok.. So this is your way of saying thank you Mr. Officer ”, Manvi says while looking at Raghav.

”You ”… ” Raghav was about to say something but Maanvi turned back and went to her table.

Suddenly they both heard a knock at the door.

”Yes Come In ”..Both spoke together and then started looking at each other.

Priya came in through the door.Manvi was shocked to see Priya there.

”Priya ”..what are you doing here? , Manvi asked Priya.

Priya didn replied to Manvis question first; she turned and greet Raghav firstly.

”Hello sir, Priya smiled and said to Raghav.

”Hello! ”, Raghav replied looking at Priya.

”Sir, can I take your assistant for a while?, I also need his help, Priya smiled and said to Raghav.

Manvi felt a little awkward after listening to Priya.

”what are you saying this? ”, Manvi said softly to Priya.

”You please Ask her ” , Raghav replies looking at Manvi.

”Manvi someone has come to meet you ”, ”you come with me ”, Priya said to Manvi.

”Who? ”, Manvi asked Priya. with a confused face.

”This is a surprise for you ”, come on soon, thank you sir ”, Priya said while holding Manvis hand and pulled her.

But… Maanvi had said only this but Priya grabbed her hand and took her out of the door.

”I will come back in a while ”, before going out, Maanvi told Raghav.
