Little More Than Friends

The following day, unfortunately you woke up late with just 10 minutes to get ready.

”Y/N!! GET UP! ” your brother shouts. ”Shut up.. Lemme sleep. ” you say still sleeping. ”Dude… You have 10 mins to get ready for school.. ” he says. ”10 mins? Thats a lot.. Wait! 10 MINS?! ”you say realizing and start running around in a blink. Your brother then leaves for school forgetting about you.

”4 mins left! ” you think. With that, you run outside and heard your mother shout, ”Eat your breakfast at least! ” ”Its fine.. I will buy something on the way! Love you and byee! ” you shout and start running towards your school. ”Shit! I might get late today!! ”you shout increasing your speed.

After reaching school-

”I hate these stairs!!! ” you scream. TRINGGGG! goes the bell. Your class comes in your sight and you open the class door and shout, ”I am not late!!! ” Everyone looks at you and you feel weird as you were the only one panting heavily. As you keep your bag down, the teacher walks in the classroom.

”Y/N, you are called to the Multi-Purpose hall again… ” your teacher informed. ”Again? Huff! ” you say and head to the Multi-Purpose Hall. While walking, you think ”Man.. I bored of these ceremonies! ” Just then you bump into Jennifer. ”Oh! Hi.. I could use a little help here! ” she says and hands you some of the files in her hands. You take them and ask, ”Where are you going with these files? ” ”The Multi-Purpose hall.. I believe you were called too, right? ” she replied. ”Yup.. ” you say sighing.

Once you reach the Multi-Purpose hall-

You hand over the files to a teacher near the stage. Turning around, a lot of familiar faces from yesterday were seen. ”At least, there lesser people from yesterday.. ” you think stretching. Just then, you spot a senior walking towards you. He looked very tall and decent.

Your eyes meet with him and instantly you feel butterflies in your stomach. ”Why I am feeling butterflies? And my heart.. It is bumping so fast suddenly! ” you think holding your heart.

”Hi.. I am C/N.. Can we be friends? ” he asks as soon as he walks up to you.

-A popular guy in his grade (two years older than you)

-The ”I don give a ** ” type of guy sometimes

-Rude to all the girls he meets (Except you)

-Likes to play Guitar and Basketball

”Sure.. I am Y/N.. ” you say nervously. He smiles and then walks after hearing someone calling him from behind. ”Oh my godd! I can breathe man!!! ” you think. ”Why am I so nervous suddenly?? ” you mumble in a low voice after calming down a little. Just then the Principal steps on the stage and starts announcing the rewards.

After the ceremony-

You reached the class sitting next to your guy friend. ”Say Y/N.. Don you like anyone? ” he asks for the 69th time ;). Usually you would answer, ”No, dumb idiot. ” or ”Nope.. ” But this time, you couldn just get yourself to say
o. You take longer than usual to answer which made your friend suspicious about you. ”Y/N.. Do you like someone? ” he repeats himself but with more interest.

”No man.. Of course n-not. Don think shit.. ” you reply. He looks at your face for a while then says, ”Ok.. I guess.. ” ”He is easy to fool.. But.. Why was not able to answer him at first? Do I really like someone? ” you think. Just then C/Ns picture pops into your mind and you start blushing hard. After thinking quietly for while, you mumble out loud unknowingly ”I don like anyone! ” Luckily, there weren many people in the class as it was lunchtime.

Your next class was Physical Education (one of your favorites) and you were excited. You reached in the ground and found another class there. The teacher informed that another class will be colliding with your class. You didn care much until you saw C/N in the boys line. ”What is he doing here? ” you think getting anxious again.

”Hey.. ” he says. ”Sup? Hows life? ” you ask. ”Hmm. Pretty boring without someone.. ” he answers. ”Who is that someone? ” you ask curious. ”Someone important but she didn know that she was important to me until now.. ” he replies. ”Oh.. Ok.. ” you say feeling a little sad.

Just then your friends call you to play basketball with them and ask C/N join you all. It was match between some students of his class and some from your class. Unexpectedly, he is pretty good player and keeps scoring. But of course, as Basketball is your sport, you don plan to fall behind. Both of you keep scoring goals for your teams.

TRINGGG! once again the bell rings and both teams end in a tie. ”Huff.. Huff.. ” you pant and head to your class. From behind, C/N comes running and says, ”Dude! You are so good at Basketball! Did you go for the School Competition? ” ”Yeah.. Our school won that.. ” you say in a calm voice. ”Knew it.. I was there from the boys team. ” he says. ”Really? I guess I forgot.. ” you say surprised. ”Anyways, see ya! ” he says and leaves.

From then on, you both become pretty good friends and hang out a lot together.

With just 3 weeks left for you to leave for Japan, you house is a huge mess. All of your friends are very sad and keep hanging out with you all the time. You decide to throw them a party and go bowling on the weekend. ”Come on! Lets go bowling today. ” you say. ”Ok/K/Fine with me.. ” they all say. Of course, you call C/N to join you.

After two or three rounds, you all are worn out. ”So.. Who won?? ” one of your friend asks. ”Must be C/N or Y/N.. ” a girl replies. You guys check the score and find that C/N won. After celebrating, you guys looked for more things to do in the same mall. Meanwhile they were looking, you wander off in random shops around.

Just then, you spot C/N looking for someone. You step out of the shop and ask him, ”Who are you looking for? ” ”I am looking that important person I told you about.. It seems I found her.. ” he says. ”Where is she then?? ” you ask looking around. He looks at you for a while and then…..
