I was found

Alec followed her instructions and drove to a secluded area. It looked abandoned, there were no other houses . Only a large ware house was prominent. Alec was still scanning the area when Gwen rushed past him . He followed her to the warehouse. There were guards everywhere and they were armed.

The warehouse was poorly lit . The brightest light was at the back and it was above Mr.Frinees desk. The desk was covered with drugs , money and guns. Mr.Frinee had a cigar in his mouth . He smiled when he saw Gwen.

” Oh my! ” he got out of his seat. ” Did you dress up just for me ? ” He noticed her attire. He signaled his men to let her through and stop Alec. ” Sorry but…your friend should keep a distance. ”

” Its 11:57 pm. I brought the goods and I still have three minutes to spare. ”Gwen opened the case and a wicked smile spread over Mr. Frinees face.

” Good. ” he tossed the briefcase to one of his henchmen. ” Ill tell my men to leave your house. ” Gwen was worried . What were his men doing at her house? Did they do anything to her family ? Mr Frinee patted her shoulder. ” Dont worry.I had them posted there just in case you didn make it in time …or else… ” he didn finish.

Gwen knew well what he meant. Hed have killed her family. This business was dangerous but profitable. She thanked her lucky stars she made it in time .

” I hope weve settled this and I pray you keep working with us. ” Gwen had to make sure all was settled. Mr.Frinee took out his cigar and pressed it on his skin . It was a ritual among the gangs to symbolize a settled dispute. Mr.Frinee winced and he handed her the cigar. Gwen did the same but she showed no pain . Shed done this many times before.

” Pleasure working with you . Send my regards to Bain. ” he smiled.

They got out of the warehouse. Alec was at a distance and he couldn hear what they were talking about but hed seen everything. What exactly was this beautiful lady involved in?

” So…Its 1:39am , Im in a secluded area with a pretty lady and I seem to be getting dirty thoughts. ” Alec was leaning against his car.

Gwen hadn taken her time to perceive his outfit. He was in a royal blue suit. It looked expensive . It had golden embroidery. He wore a white shirt but left the first two buttons open revealing a bit if his chest. She was curious about what lay underneath that shirt .He had a chain on his neck. It made him look like a bad boy . His hair was gelled and not a single hair was out of place . He almost looked like bad ass royalty. The way he was leaning against his car made him look…appetizing. The way he looked at her …his hypnotizing eyes. She felt her heart beat faster .

” It seems Im not the only one having improper thoughts. ” Alecs voice brought her back to her senses. ” A penny for your thoughts ? ”

” You look sexy in that suit. ” Gwen didn like to keep her thoughts to herself but she regretted saying what shed just said. Since she couldn take it back she decided to change the topic. ” Lets go somewhere. I wanna get out of this place. ” She got into the car. What was she thinking !

Alec remained outside the car grinning like a fool.Gwen knocked on the window from the inside . ” Would you like to leave or are you hoping to get a job in the warehouse? ”

Alec chuckled and got in. ” Alright, where would you like to go? ”

” Its your choice. Take me somewhere nice. ” Gwen curled up close to the window and looked outside.She closed her eyes. She loved the wind on her face . She always felt a sense of freedom whenever she was in the wind or whenever it rained on her. She didn realize when she slept. She was awoken by a hand caressing her cheek. She was alert but she kept her eyes shut. What was he doing ? His finger glided over her eyes then to her nose. His finger touched her lips. She felt electricity in her body. She felt him come closer.His face was right above hers.Was he going to kiss her ?! His scent invaded her nostrils. She clutched her dress as tightly as she could. Her heart was nearly coming out of her chest. ” We

” What…Why….Move! ” she stammered. She felt beads of sweat on her forehead. Alec moved away. He had a smirk on his lips.

” Were you really asleep ? Or were you waiting for me to kiss you ? ”

Gwens eyes darted around the car. She avoided his eyes…those blue eyes. Dang! She was looking again . She was trapped . His eyes were holding her still. She tore her gaze away.

” Yes. ” Gwen blurted.

” Yes what ? ” Alec squinted. ” You were waiting for me to kiss you? ”

” Yes…I was asleep. ” Gwens cheeks were flushed. She looked out the window. ” Where are we ? ” She looked back at him.

”Why don we go out and see? ” Alec got out of the car. Gwen followed.

” Wh- ” Alec put his hand over her eyes.He was standing too close. She felt his breath on her ear.

” Don peak. ” He led her. They walked into ice skating rink. ” Look. ” he shifted his hand.

” Hell no! ” Gwen gasped. ” I cannot ice-skate! Im HORRIBLE ! ” she was laughing.

” Too late to back out. ” Alec handed her a pair of skates. ” This place is ours for the entire night. Just you and me. ”

Gwen looked at the ice. It shimmered like glass. It was beautiful.

” So …Ms.Barkley. Are you ready for the best night of your life? ”
