I Will Always Love You Even After Your Foolish Decisions

At the kindergarten, Kyle was waiting outside of the class, because Samuel strictly said to stand outside of the class to pick his daughter up. He wasn as buffed, muscles were showing through his shirt. Black hairs, parted from the side, beautiful brown eyes. His cheeks were a bit chubby, complimenting his pretty features more.

”Goodbye children, see yall tomorrow. ”

As all the children swarmed out of the class, Kyle heard someone calling his name,

”Uncle Kyleeeee!! ”

”Hannah! ”

The little girl throws herself on him saying how much she missed him, although she just saw him yesterday.

After their little moment, did Kyle notice the figure standing in front of him looking at the children departing.

”Felix? Hey Felix!! ”

Kyle calls the man who looked at him as his smile gets bigger.

”Kyle? Yeah it is you… How are you? And how come you are here? ”

”You know Uncle Kyle? ”

Hannah asked.

”Yeah sunshine, we know each other. ”

Kyle replies.

”Im fine Lix, How are you? And When did you return from Australia? ”

”Im fine and I just returned at the beginning of this year, I was gonna call you but I lost my phone and all the contacts too. ”

Felix replied.

”Okay… Im just glad you

Kyle gave a light smile.

”How come you are with this little princess here? ”

Felix asked while poking Hannahs cheeks lightly which squeezed out a little giggle from the girl.

”Ohh… Her father told me to pick her up as he is busy. ”

”Yeah… met him this very morning. Anyways, how is it going with Lewis? ”

Felix asked, changing the topic, which didn go unnoticed by Kyle but he decided to let it go.

”Look at my finger. ”

With this Kyle showed his hand, his ring finger adorned with an elegant yet simple looking ring.

Felix exclaimed.

”Not yet, but yeah we got engaged 3 months prior. ”

”I really was gone for too long huh? ”

”Lix… 5 years. It is long. ”

Promising to keep contact with each other, Kyle took Hannah with him to take care of the girl, until Samuel returned.

More than 1 week went away as Hannah became more familiar with her kindergarten and more fond towards the particular sunshine boy. In this past week, Samuel tried many times to approach Felix, but every time he failed, which angered him a lot.

”You know Papa… Lixie is so good. He helped me a lot and also shooed away my bullies today. ”

”Bullies? You got bullied? ”

Samuel asked, worried.

”Yeah… Some boys and girls were bullying me today, saying that I don have a mother to drop me and pick me up from school, thats why you do it. ”

Hannah replied, lowering her head as she continued,

”Wheres my Mumma? Did she leave Hannah? Was Hannah a bad girl, Papa? ”

The words made Samuel wince, these words were too cruel to come out of a little girls mouth.

Samuel stopped his car and looked at his daughter,

”No baby, you were never a bad girl, youve always been the best. And your Mumma… Shes in a better place now baby, always looking after you from above the sky among the bright stars. ”

”Is she the brightest star, Papa? ”

”Yes baby, she is. Now who wants some ice cream? ”

”Mee!! ”

Samuel chuckles as he drives towards the ice cream parlor.

No matter what, Samuel will neither let his daughter miss her mother nor hate her.

Two months went by, Hannah enjoying her school and Samuel, still trying to start a long conversation with Felix, but messing up every time.

Felix was at the shopping mall when he heard someone calling him and felt two arms hugging his thighs.

”Lixie!! ”

”Hey Princess. ”

He kneels down towards little Hannah and brushes her nose with his knuckles.

”Who are you with? Why are you roaming alone? ”

Before Hannah could reply, a worried Samuel rushed towards her from another counter.

”Hannah, haven I told you to not let my hand go? Oh- Good Evening, Mr. Jones. ”

Samuel greeted, his heart beating like crazy.

”Good Evening, Mr. Willson ”

Felix greeted back.

”Hannah, princess, haven I told you to not run when we agreed to visit the mall together? ”

”Sorry Papa, I saw Lixie and I just wanted to say hi. ”

The little girls pout saved her from further scolding.

”Li-xie? ”

Samuel looked at Felix, his eyes filled with unexplained emotions.

”Ye-yeah, she likes calling me that. ”

Felix awkwardly chuckles.

”Ohh.. okay, why not shop together? I mean just walk together while shopping. ”

Samuel rubbed the back of his neck. He finally got the opportunity to talk to the freckled man and he, at any cost, ain letting it go.

After shopping they went out of the mall and towards their car.

”Bub can you sit inside the car for a moment? Ill come back soon. ”

With Hannah agreeing, Samuel rushed.

Felix was keeping his stuff inside the back seat, when he heard someone calling him.

”Oh, Mr. Willson… Do you need something? ”

”Felix… How are you? ”

Samuel whispered.

”Its Mr. Jones for you. And about my well being? I believe its none of your business, Mr. Willson. ”

Felix curtly replied.

”Felix please… don be so strict. Lets talk and drop the honorifics. ”

”Okay… Samuel. There I fulfilled one of your wishes. And about talking, theres nothing to talk about now. ”

Samuel, ”Come on Lix, we need to talk! Five years… Five **ing years!!!! ”

”Yeah, Samuel Willson, its been five years. Theres nothing to talk about. ”

”Felix, I looked for you everywhere! EVERY FUCKING WHERE! ”

”When Samuel, after you pushed me away? And WHY!? ”

”YOU LEFT ME FELIX! FOR FIVE- ”

”YOU LEFT ME FIRST WILLSON! For that… for that girl, Sam… you left me broken and it took me five years to mend them back and make a wall around myself with those pieces. ”

Felix continued, ”So now, Mr. Willson, we really don have anything to talk about. ”

Felix gets inside his car and drives away, leaving the broken Samuel with teary eyes.

The next few days Samuel went to drop Hannah at kindergarten, hoping to see the blonde male only to be faced with disappointment.

”Im Brian Lee, a substitute teacher. Mr. Jones took leave for a few days. ”

He only got this reply.

Its already been weeks. The blonde male, even after returning from his break, now is completely avoiding Samuel.

Samuel was a mess. He wasn able to focus on his work, being too strict with his employees and even screaming at Christopher. The latter took it lightly, deciding to give the younger some time, but things were getting out of hand.
