Gu with surprise.

“Dad, you found out about Gu Yaobai and Old Mr.

He wanted to ruin Gu Qinghua’s reputation and thereby ending his career.

The Gu family keeping Gu Yaobai was a surprise to Xie Hongbo.

Originally, when the plan failed, Xie Hongbo’s plan was to get rid of Yang Wanni and the child so as to not leaving any potential issues behind.

Never would he had expected that Yang Wanni, having no other options, would leave the child at the Gu family and that Gu Qinghua’s wife would also allow the child to stay temporarily out of compassion.

That made it difficult for Xie Hongbo to take care of the child.

And that child, needless to say, was Gu Yaobai.

By then Old Mr.

Over the years, Gu Shao had been looking into Xie Hongbo’s activities and collecting evidence against him.
As for why they had done nothing toward Gu Yaobai, partly it was because Old Mr.
Gu was still kind toward Gu Yaobai and also partly because they didn’t want to alert them just yet.

In addition, Gu Shao was curious to find out the relationship between Gu Yaobai and Xie Hongbo.

Over on this side, looking at the guilty look on Gu Feng, Old Mr.
Gu hrumphed again and said disgruntledly, “You guys thought I didn’t know anything.”

Even though the three had kept more from Old Mr.
Gu, but he knew enough.

They were already raising him.
Gu Qinghua figured that if Gu Yaobai turned out to be a nice kid, he would be a Gu forever.
