(school bells ring)

”yawn, I really need to stop staying up so late ”

Chase raised his head from the drool covered desk. All the students got out of their seats and started leaving the classroom.

”Stay up to late studying again? Chase, its not healthy to get so little sleep, have you considered taking a break? I know finals are coming soon, but its not worth risking your health. ”

”Yeah whatever Charlie, are you coming to the library tonight? its a great place to study. ”

”Probably not, I was thinking about hanging with some friends tonight, your free to join us if youd like. ”

”If I leave early I will, how about meeting up at my grandfathers shop once Im done. ”

” yeah that should be fine ”

Chase rose from his seat and gave a wave to Charlie before heading out.

”man this sucks, why does the school have to cram so much at the last second, guess Ill be up studying again. ”

Chase continued down the hallway and stopped just outside his locker. He puts in the combination and the door flys open, papers and books fall out.

”sigh, I knew I shouldn have put so much inside this locker. Oh well ”

Chase picked up the papers and grabbed a few books and placed them in his bag. he then slammed his locker door and puts a lot of force into closing it.

”damn this locker, they really need to make these things bigger ”

after a few seconds of rigorous struggle, the locker conceded with a click.

”finally! ”

Chase continued down the hallway. while he walked he passed many students. they all looked happy, probably because school was over for them for the day.

Chase walked past everyone, he sped up and looked downward when he approached Tommy.

”Hey Chase, don try to sneak past me! ” Tommy grabbed Chase by the back of his collar and drug him over to a small group of athletes.

” did you finish that paper that I need done by tomorrow? ”

”not yet Tommy, Ive been busy. I promise Ill get it to you by tomorrow ”

Tommy pressed his fingers into the sides of Chases neck.

”you know I need this grade otherwise Ill be kicked off the team, so you better get it to me by tomorrow ” Tommy sneered

” I will ”

Tommy let go of Chases neck and shoved him forward.
