Lian Qiao and Zhong Xiu stood by the bed, watching Xu RenDong anxiously.
Xu RenDong, who was lying on the bed, had his eyes closed tightly and the sheets under him were soaked in blood.
He covered his stomach with one hand and waved with the other, as if he were fighting with something invisible.

Lian Qiao was panicked, wishing to rush into his dream and fight alongside him.
But at this time Lian Qiao, like Zhong Xiu, could do nothing but wait anxiously.
He didn’t even dare to touch Xu RenDong as he didn’t know if this would affect Xu RenDong’s actions in his dream, making him unable to avoid the next fatal attack.

This feeling of powerlessness was like a big rock, weighing heavily on Lian Qiao’s heart and making him almost breathless.

Zhong Xiu had already burst into tears.
Then she stuffed something into Xu RenDong’s hand and held his hand tightly.
Lian Qiao frowned and pushed Zhong Xiu away: “What are you doing!”

With red eyes, Zhong Xiu pointed to the thing in Xu RenDong’s hand and asked sharply: “Don’t you know what I’m doing?!”

Lian Qiao looked in the direction she was indicating and saw a lifelike wooden doll lying quietly beside Xu RenDong.
Xu RenDong’s hands kept moving and he accidentally pushed away the puppet.
The puppet rolled down from the bed with a horrified expression.
Zhong Xiu jumped over to catch it and put it back into Xu RenDong’s hands again.

Lian Qiao narrowed his eyes: “What is this? A prop?”

Zhong Xiu was taken aback: “…you don’t know what this is?”

Lian Qiao was irritated: “What I know doesn’t matter.
The key is, can this thing save him or not?”

Zhong Xiu was silent.
Xu RenDong had been moving around and couldn’t hold the doll at all.
She doesn’t know if this was useful but now she has no other way.

Time crawled by like sticky mud and every minute was extremely slow.
Lian Qiao had to look at his phone almost every minute.
Since he was awakened by Zhong Xiu at five o’clock in the morning and saw Xu RenDong falling into a nightmare, half an hour had already passed.

During this half an hour, Xu RenDong first showed a bloody mark on his face and then a big hole appeared out of nowhere on his stomach.
He covered his stomach with his hands and small plumes of blood continued to gush out from between his fingers, quickly soaking his clothes and sheets into blood red.
This amount of bleeding was  shocking just to look at.
Lian Qiao tried countless ways to wake him up but they were all in vain.
Xu RenDong always had his eyes closed tightly, frowning deeply, breathing sometimes quickly and sometimes suddenly holding it in, as if suffocating.

The thing that Lian Qiao feared the most still happened.
He could only watch Xu RenDong suffer but he couldn’t do anything.
This made him feel extremely desperate.

The two stared at Xu RenDong and no one spoke.
The room was suffocating and depressing, and only Xu RenDong’s violent gasping sound could be heard.
There were occasional painful grunts.
Whenever Xu RenDong uttered a painful cry, the two people beside him couldn’t help but want to step forward, but they could only suppress this impulse abruptly.

Fresh wounds continued to appear on Xu RenDong’s body and his face became paler.
Everyone could see that Xu RenDong’s physical strength was gradually becoming weakened.
The rise and fall of his chest would often suddenly stop and the extent of struggle and twisting was getting smaller and smaller.
The expressions on Lian Qiao and Zhong Xiu’s faces became increasingly desperate.

It was unknown how long it took but suddenly the wooden doll in Xu RenDong’s hand made a soft “click”.
Lian Qiao and Zhong Xiu looked at Xu RenDong’s palm together  and saw that the doll’s head split from the middle and that the crack continued to extend down the bridge of the nose and throat.
Soon, the whole doll was completely split in half and fell onto the bed.

And then, at the same time.

“Ugh-” Xu RenDong opened his eyes suddenly, taking a long breath of air as if he were a drowning person that finally surfaced.

“RenDong!” Lian Qiao almost threw himself in front of him, overjoyed.
“You finally woke up!”

The light brown flickered stiffly.
Xu RenDong hadn’t fully awakened from the nightmare and just stared at the ceiling blankly.
The wounds on his body were healing quickly, the big hole in his stomach disappeared and only shocking blood stains remained on his clothes.

Zhong Xiu breathed a sigh of relief and silently put away the cracked wooden doll.

It took a long time for Xu RenDong to relax and his dry lips moved up and down.
Lian Qiao quickly bent down and put his ear to his lips.

Xu RenDong said in a whisper: “Water…”

“I’ll get it!” Lian Qiao quickly brought a water glass and helped him sit up.

Xu RenDong seemed to have just escaped from the desert, gulping out a whole glass of water.
Finally, the pupils of the vague eyes gradually gained focus.
He glanced at Lian Qiao blankly, then at Zhong Xiu and suddenly his face changed.
He covered his head with his hands.

“Does it still hurt?” Lian Qiao tugged him into his arms and spoke soothingly.
“It’s okay, you’re awake, he can’t catch you anymore, you’re safe, you’re okay…” He kept on repeating the phrase “you’re okay”.
His voice gradually changed from tremor to calmness, as if he was comforting Xu RenDong at the same time as himself.

Xu RenDong had a splitting headache.
He remembered that he was chased by Freddy on Elm Street just now.
A big hole was opened in his stomach and he was stabbed more than a dozen times in his hands and feet.
But Freddy was not in a hurry to kill him and kept letting him run away in a game of cat and mouse, repeatedly returning to stab him a few more times here and there.
He eventually fell to the ground with exhaustion.
Freddy also got tired of playing and gave him a fatal blow to the head, splitting his head in half.

The touch of the brain plasma leaking from the gap in the skull still lingered on his nerve endings.
Xu RenDong rubbed his forehead, only to feel that his scalp was numb, and the deep part of his brain was still trembling slightly.

But why was he still alive?

He thought he would be in the elevator when he saw Lian Qiao again but he never expected that he was still lying on the bed in the bedroom.
He didn’t react for a while, then turned his head and glanced at Zhong Xiu.
He asked in surprise: “Why are you here?”

Zhong Xiu was taken aback, showing a somewhat subtle expression.
Xu RenDong suddenly felt that the atmosphere was not right and then heard Lian Qiao’s voice, which was suppressing anger, say: “…This is her room.”

Xu RenDong widened his eyes in surprise and reconfirmed his surrounding environment.
He realized this was indeed the room after Zhong Xiu moved out into.
He remembered that last night he sneaked out to see Zhong Xiu in the middle of the night, and then fell asleep in Zhong Xiu’s room.
When Zhong Xiu was also asleep, she was probably awakened by his screams in his dream and so had called Lian Qiao to come over.

He looked down at himself.
The big hole in his stomach was gone and his left arm didn’t hurt anymore.
He couldn’t help but wonder: “How come all my injuries are healed…?”

“I used a doll,” Zhong Xiu whispered.
.

It turns out that using a doll can not only resurrect someone but also heal all injuries.
Xu RenDong feels that this item is much easier to use than his rebirth ability, at least the instance doesn’t need to be completely restarted and it would save so much time.

After all, it was something obtained at the cost of a human life.
This key player’s death is very valuable.

Xu RenDong suddenly had an impulse to go kill the president and grab his doll.

 ……Wait, wait…

At this moment, something flashed across Xu RenDong’s mind and made him feel extremely uneasy.
But he couldn’t capture what it was for a while but only felt that it was something very important.

His head started to hurt again.

He frowned unconsciously and his gaze stayed on Zhong Xiu unconsciously.
Zhong Xiu got the wrong idea and cautiously apologized: “Sorry, I used the doll rashly on my own accord……”

Xu RenDong recovered and casually asked: “You’ve still got a few?”

Zhong Xiu: “No.”

This meant that Zhong Xiu used the only life-saving item she had on him.

Xu RenDong felt a very complicated emotion in her heart.
He turned his head and stopped looking at her.
However he said in a low voice: “Thank you.”

Zhong Xiu smiled and didn’t answer.

Lian Qiao beside him suddenly said, “Are you done?” His voice was a little cold, completely different from usual.

Xu RenDong: “Huh?”

Lian Qiao grabbed his arm and dragged him up from the bed: “I have something to tell you, come with me.”

Xu RenDong was confused and he was dragged back to their bedroom.
Lian Qiao slammed the door heavily and the door frame shook.
Xu RenDong felt that Lian Qiao was extremely irritable at this moment and shrank back subconsciously.

Sure enough, when Lian Qiao turned around, his brows were furrowed and his eyes were full of mania.
He looked so fierce that it appeared like he would jump on him in the next second.
His voice was low, suppressing fury: “What the hell are you trying to do!?”

Xu RenDong felt inexplicable: “What do you mean?”

Lian Qiao narrowed his eyes and stepped closer.
Xu RenDong stepped back subconsciously.
Soon his back felt cold and he was forced to a corner.
This feeling of having nowhere to run made him panic.
He instinctively wanted to turn his head and run away but Lian Qiao suddenly pressed his shoulders hard and pressed him against the wall.

“Wu!” Lian Qiao’s movements were very rough.
Xu RenDong’s shoulder was hurt by him so he couldn’t help but push him back.
“You have something you want to say?!”

Lian Qiao sneered: “Haven’t I already said it? Did you listen? You just promised me not to see her but when I fell asleep, you ran to her room to have a private meeting with her?!”

Xu RenDong was surprised.
He wanted to explain but once he opened his mouth, nothing came out.

What should he say? He went to Zhong Xiu because Zhong Xiu warned him that there was a problem with Lian Qiao and asked him to be careful regarding Lian Qiao?

Lian Qiao looked at Xu RenDong’s hesitant expression and a look of injury flashed in his eyes.
He almost gritted his teeth and asked, “You still have old feelings for her, then what am I?”

Xu RenDong: “You misunderstood! She is not—”

Lian Qiao interrupted him: “Misunderstanding! It was her on the phone that day right!?”

Lian Qiao meant the day they confirmed the relationship.
Xu RenDong denied decisively: “No! That day…”

Lian Qiao became more and more frantic: “You’re lying! I heard you calling her “Teacher” on the phone!”

He didn’t listen to the explanation at all and tightened his fingers on Xu RenDong’s shoulder.
Xu RenDong was pinched painfully and his emotions became irritable: “I said it’s not! That’s the teacher from my orphanage!  The person that raised me!”

Lian Qiao’s eyes were shocked: “She raised you? Then you got together?” The shock in his eyes instantly turned into fury, “Doesn’t that mean she’s a fucking pedophile?! What the hell did that woman do to you!? What did you guys actually do-”

The word “pedophile” caused Xu RenDong to have a strong physical aversion.
In addition to his anger, he felt himself lose a bit of control and sternly cursed: “Can’t you fucking talk human! Why are you going crazy! Can’t you calm down and listen to me to explain!” He pushed Lian Qiao hard, trying to escape from under the pressure of his clutches but Lian Qiao appeared to have lost his mind and pressed his shoulders desperately, almost crushing his joints.

Lian Qiao yelled at him: “No! I only know now that I am such a big idiot! I shouldn’t have let you answer the phone that day! I should have pushed you onto basin and fucked you until cried and begged for mercy.
Fuck you until you don’t have the energy to find someone else!”

Xu RenDong was stunned by these explicit words and then, before he could react, something heavy fell onto his body.
A soft thing was pressed on his lips and heat suffused his face.

“…” Xu RenDong opened his eyes wide and forgot to resist.

Lian Qiao clung to his body and kissed him fiercely as if he were a conquering army.
He forced Xu RenDong in a corner with no escape from the assault.

“Hmm…” Xu RenDong’s shoulders were sore that he struggled instinctively.
Once he freed his shoulder, Lian Qiao finally loosened his grip.
However, the next second, he grabbed Xu RenDong’s hands and held them high above his head, forcing him to assume an irresistible posture.

Xu RenDong felt extremely ashamed but was robbed of his logic by Lian Qiao’s wild and rude kiss.
He was soft all over and was almost unable to stand up.
If it hadn’t been for Lian Qiao holding him down, it was afraid that he would have already slid down the wall.

He felt that it was not the time to do this kind of thing, but…

But his body couldn’t help being excited and even the tip of his heart trembled.

He couldn’t help responding to Lian Qiao’s kiss, accepting the stormy offensive.
Under his young and clumsy acceptance, Lian Qiao gradually became less rough and his lips and teeth were stained with gentle and lingering meanings.

Xu RenDong wanted to put his arms around his neck and kiss him well.
He moved his wrists but Lian Qiao misunderstood what he wanted and instead squeezed him harder.

Xu RenDong was crushed by him and frowned slightly.
The two love of them clearly reciprocated each other’s feelings but somehow, something like this was forced to happen….
Lian Qiao was really….

His brain felt a little hypoxic.
Xu RenDong can’t think of any words to describe Lian Qiao but just felt the situation was both funny and helpless.

His body is light and fluttering, as if standing in the clouds.
Lian Qiao’s hot body temperature came from between two close bodies and the same scorching breath slapped on the tip of Xu RenDong’s nose, causing his breathing to become more rapid.
There were waves of dizziness in the depths of his brain and he gradually couldn’t breathe, thinking dizzily:

So this is kissing ah….

It’s so sweet.

Xu RenDong closed his eyes in the sweet dizziness and felt the kiss with all his body and mind.
His breathing became shorter and shorter and he felt a little tight in his chest.
But whenever he wanted to take a big breath, Lian Qiao would take the opportunity to dive deeper and block his breath.

So dizzy… I can’t breathe…

Xu RenDong struggled weakly and Lian Qiao still held him tightly, without any signs of relaxing.
His chest was also so crushed that he couldn’t move.
He could only lift up the only movable leg and kicked Lian Qiao lightly.
It was unknown where he kicked but Lian Qiao finally moved.

The breath that was close at hand suddenly became heavy.
Immediately afterwards, Lian Qiao released his hand and pinched his waist.

RenDong’s entire body was soft.

… Was this him paying back a grievance?

Xu RenDong thought about this helplessly as his consciousness gradually drifted.

Finally…

There was a biting chill which made his whole person come back awake.

Xu RenDong opened his eyes suddenly, staring blankly at the mist that filled the surroundings and the familiar small house with a red roof and white walls in front of him.

Five shimmering razors emerged from the fog and, at the same time, there was a surprised voice.

“You actually dared to come back.”

 Xu RenDong: “???”

His reaction was full of anger: Fuck I was just fainted, I wasn’t going to sleep okay!?
