“I want a son.” Jiang Yao snorted as she went into the bedroom.
“Twin sons are the best!”

Lu Xingzhi chased after her.
He reached out and grabbed Jiang Yao; he wanted to convince her.
“It’s good to have a daughter.
Daughters are always very caring.
Look at our family.
Doesn’t Sister come home every few days to visit Mom and Dad? Look at me.

Having a daughter is better.”

Jiang Yao glanced at Lu Xingzhi, retracted her hand, and turned around to avoid him.

After she said that, she turned around and continued to walk.

“I thought the sound of the water was so loud that you couldn’t hear my voice.” The implication was to complain that she heard his words but did not say a word in reply.
