Boruto: The Story Of Uzumak Rikuto (REWRITE)

Chapter 10

For the next three years Rikuto spent most of his time training, with Kuramas help he was able to master Kurama Chakra mode relatively fast. While he couldn use six paths mode like his father for obvious reasons. He was still pretty powerful able to summon Kuramas Avatar as well as The Biju bomb and a few other tricks.

Rikuto had been on a bunch of missions these past few years and had racked up quite a bit of experience. He hadn progressed passed a Chunin but most people knew that he was as strong as the next Jounin.

The young Uzumaki had visited Mei multiple times these past few years, it was painstakingly obvious that war was coming for Kiri. Kumo had hurt a Kiri shinobi a while back and that made tensions worse. It would take one more small push for war to break out. Rikuto didn want to fight in a war but if there was no choice hed fight for the country he was raised in most of his life. At least nobody had been killed. Not yet anyway. It would be a shame if war did break out because the world had been at peace for close to two decades. Hopefully it didn come to that.

Rikuto yawned as he walked the streets of Konoha. He had just left the hokage tower to give his mission report. He was pretty tired as he had been traveling a lot recently. The raven spotted a sweets shop and shrugged. He could use a quick snack before heading home.

He eyed the name of the shop. SHOS SWEETS AND DESERT STORE.

Hm. He thought to himself before walking towards the Store and entering. Upon entry he found a variety of cakes, cupcakes, cookies and it looked like they sold ice cream and shakes as well. There were multiple chairs lined up in front of a large table that went from wall to wall horizontally.

Rikuto took a seat next to a young woman with a yellow and red robe. He looked at all the deserts the shop had to offer and he had to admit he felt overwhelmed. There was just so many options to choose from. The raven thought about it and decided on two pieces of strawberry cake and a strawberry shake.

It took a few minutes until he received what he had ordered. Rikuto took a bite of the cake and when he did his eyes widened. ”Umai! ”

When Rikuto decided to stop by this little sweet shop he didn think it would be this good!

”First time here, Rikuto-kun? ”

Rikuto glanced over to see a young woman with long dark brown hair and pupil-less lilac colored eyes detonating her as a Hyuga. He recognized her as Hinatas younger sister whom he had only met a few times since he began staying with his father all those years ago

”Hanabi-san. ” Said Rikuto. ”Strange meeting you here and yes this is my first time here. I just happened to see the shop. I was curious I suppose. ”

The Hyuga smiled. ”I don think its so strange. They sell my favorite cake here. ”

”And that would be? ”

”Banana! ” She replied enthusiastically. Rikuto smiled before taking a sip of his shake as he continued to talk with Hanabi. He didn know what it was, but he found talking with Hanabi rather easy. Maybe it was that she was a beautiful female or maybe it was something else. Regardless he found himself enjoying her company.

After ten minutes or so Rikuto had finished both his cake slices and his shake.

”Where are you heading after this Rikuto-kun? I was gonna get some actual food after this. Did you…wanna join me? ”

Rikuto yawned. ”Maybe some other time Hanabi-san. Im a bit tired if Im being honest. Ive been traveling a lot recently. Between visiting my grandma and missions I, Well- ”

”I understand. Rain check then? ”

Rikuto nods with a raised brow. ”Was that an invitation to a date? ”

Hanabi smiled. ”Maaybe. Ill admit you are pretty cute. ”

Rikuto blushed.

”I wouldn be opposed to going on a date with you, but it would be kinda awkward considering who your family is. ”

Rikuto scratched his head. That was true, but they weren related so it should be fine. It wasn his intention to come here to look for a date but guess thats just how things turned out to be ”It would be, but I have a feeling your worth it. ”

A faint red tinged her cheeks as the son of Uzumaki stood up and placed some money on the counter.

”Where and when should we meet again? ” Rikuto asked

”Tomorrows a good day for me. ” Said Hanabi. ”We can meet in front of this shop around noon. ”

Rikuto nods. ”Well see ya. ” He replied before his body turns into ice and shattered, the ice turning into nothingness.

The many customers in the shop stared at where Rikuto was before he used his Hyouton Shunshin

Hanabi looked surprised before scratching her head. She chuckled a little bit. He definitely had his fathers unpredictability.

Rikuto stared at his ceiling. A date huh? I gotta admit I never thought Id get a date so easily…Hm…guess Ill just go asleep for now. He thought

That was easier said than done. While he was physically tired he was excited for the next day and had trouble sleeping. When he woke up it would probably be in the middle of the night anyway. After about two hours at a little past 6 In the evening he finally fell asleep.

Yawning Rikuto sighed as he looked at his clock. 3:18 AM. Looks like thats all the sleep Im gonna get. He thought before getting out of bed. The raven walked across the hall and got in the shower. He was in there for at least ten minutes before he wrapped a towel over him and threw on his outfit of choice; a fishnet shirt and over that a snowy blue shirt. He also wore black Anbu pants which had a weapon pouch behind him and a Kunai holster on his right hip.

”Guess. Ill go and do some training. ” Said Rikuto before vanishing in a Hyouton Shunshin

”Ice Release; Rasengan! ” Rikuto thrusted forward the orb of chakra into a tree, said tree turned into ice before it spiraled a hole right through the tree sending it crashing down. Now if that was a human basis human would be dead. Rikuto would love to use a Biju bomb but that would level the village.

But for now….In an instant Rikuto entered Kurama mode, his body flickering with his inner beasts chakra. Rikuto went through his Katas as he flashed all over the training ground. He was like a blur. For hours he continued on with his training like that, occasionally utilizing his Jutsu.

Rikuto was too powerful to use his tailed beast abilities or the many variations he had created over the years. He trained until it was around 8 where despite how much chakra he wasted he still had quite a bit left. Around half of his chakra was left.

Exiting Kurama mode Rikuto shoved his hands in his pocket. Right about this time was when Hinata started cooking breakfast. He always ate breakfast with his family if it was possible at all.

Rikuto returned home to see Hinata in the kitchen fixing breakfast. ”Your up early. ” The Uzumaki scratched his head.

”Yeah. I got up and did some training. ” Rikuto said as he sat at the table in the dining room. Not too long after that Naruto joined them followed by an 11 year old Boruto and an 8 year old Himawari.

”So….hows training going son? ” Naruto asked curiously

Rikuto smiled and told him how much he had accomplished this far even about Kurama forming within him. Naruto nods. ”Kurama told me that much. ”

”Ive created variants. I can use a Hyouton Biju bomb along with other variants. ” Rikuto revealed. ”It might be true that your stronger than me Tousan but not by much. I don think. ”

Naruto didn know how to react to that.

”I always knew you were amazing Oniichan. ” Boruto grinned

Rikuto looked at his little brother. ”How are you and your team doing so far? ”

Boruto sighed. ”Weve been doing nothing but lame D-ranks. ”

Rikuto laughed. ”Yeah. I know what you mean Otouto, but the D-Ranks are important. If anything you can save up a bit of money. ”

”Yeah…. ”

Rikuto snd the others waited for Hinata to finish cooking and once it was done Hinata passed out the plates and joined her family. They talked about small things like what they
e plans for the day were and what not. After an hour the family went their separate ways. Boruto went to join his team for some training while Naruto went to his office to fill out paperwork. Rikuto did go and play with Himawari for a few hours, after she was tired out she fell asleep. Being the great brother that he is he picked her up and took her to her room. By this time it was a little past 11

The Uzumaki talked with Hinata whom he saw as a mother in sll but blood for awhile. Rikuto always wondered about his birth mother and what she was like. According to Naruto Haku was a joy to be around and no doubt she wouldve been an amazing mother.

Rikuto told Hinata he was gonna go training for the next few hours. It hurt lying to Hinata but for now it was best if he hid him dating her sister.

Rikuto had lunch with Hanabi, afterwards they went shopping. It was something Hanabi wanted to do and he really didn mind.

He had a few bags in his hands as he walked to the Hyuga compound with his date. They didn do much together but Rikuto was having a lot of fun. After a few minutes Rikuto and Hanabi arrived at the compound.

”Ill be right back Rikuto-kun. ” Said Hanabi as he passed her the bags. ”Thank you. ”

Rikuto smiled before watching her as she walked inside the compound. After about five minutes she returned, grabbing his hand she led him inside the compound. Rikuto blushed a little.

Hanabi led him to a part of the compound where there was a beautiful lake, it looked like it was the back of the compound or something as there was a door and a porch that overlooked the lake.

They sat down and continued to talk. ”So what do you like doing in your free time? ” Hanabi asked

”Definitely training. ” Rikuto said. ”Ill be damned if I lose anyone I love because I was too week to protect them. Hoe about you? ”

Hanabi smiled softly. ”I like to spend time with my family. Nothing is more fun than that. ”

”I can understand that. ” Rikuto said. ”I also enjoy time with my family as well. ”

They continued talking until late into the night where Hanabi softly kissed his cheek after telling him good night. After walking inside Rikuto used his usual Shunshin vanishing as his form was replaced with shattered Ice.

Three weeks Later

After three weeks of dating Hanabi he grew to love the older Shinobi. He had been in a few missions since then but he was still able to go out with her when he had a chance. Rikuto didn think it was possible to love someone as much as he loved Hanabi. She made him so happy. It brought a smile to his face when he thought of the day they shared their first kiss.

A few days ago

Rikuto sat next to Hanabi. He was trying to work up the courage to tell her how he felt about her. It had only been three weeks since they began dating but he loved her regardless.

”Rikuto-Kun? ” Hanabi asked as she looked at him with those beautiful eyes he loved so much. Sometimes he could just get lost in them. Rikuto seemed to snap out of whatever daze he was in before smiling scratching his head.

”Sorry…. ”

”You seem lost in thought. Whats on your mind? You know you can tell me anything. Thats what Im here for. ” Hanabi said

”I…Ive been looking for the….best way to tell you how much you mean to me….the best way to tell you I love you. ”

Hanabi widened her eyes, obviously not expecting him to say those words. She was at a loss of words she actually didn say anything for the next few minutes.

”Hanabi-chan? ”

”I love you too Rikuto-kun. ” Hanabi said with love in her eyes.

”Really? ”

Hanabi smiled before leaning forward, as her lips got closer to his they both closed their eyes. When their lips met Rikuto couldn believe how soft her lips were. Her lips lingered on his for several moments before she pulled away.

Rikuto looked at her to see her cheeks were tinted red. Hanabi saw that he too was sporting a blush. Suddenly he wrapped his arms around her and once again told her he loved her.

Hanabi smiled.

Flashback End

Rikuto stretched as he got out of bed that morning. He planned on doing some serious training today.

But first things first. Imma need some food in my stomach. Rikuto thought before throwing on some clothes and heading downstairs
